I think everyone's normal, but for a relationship to be successful, both partners need to make sure they're not annoying. Insanely religious people can be really annoying because they're so unapproachable. You can never have a conversation with them on anything except religion and they're very patronizing sometimes.

I guess you could substitute "insanely religious people" with "bigots". I once dated a militant vegan, he was pretty insane.

I completely agree with that. Also I believe that you must forgive yourself too.

Yes.. realizing / contemplating about our own mistakes is sometimes the hardest thing to do.. as it go against our own ego..

          Salam / Peace

Yes admitting our faults to ourselves is very difficult.

              ...
My prayers were answered within two months.
Thank God, Glory be to our God.

              Peace.

Just two months? Wow, that was fast. I prayed for a real friend for 4 years before I made one, and I met her a few months after I had given up hope entirely.

It's not about finding the perfect partner, It's about being the perfect partner.

That's the only way to get that perfect partner. To be the person that the perfect partner would want to be with. Be the right man/woman and the right woman/man will come along.

Indeed, funny thing is it's very easy for us to see our own faults in others

And the people we like the least are often the ones most like us
