Jews - brothers in faith

The more I think about it, the more I feel that the Jews are the closest in their beliefs with Quranic Muslims. They believe in the One God. They don't commit shirk by bowing down to man made structures. They believe in the prophets. Most of all the way they pray is very similar to the way described by the Quran. They make assembly and literally sing the praises of God. Sure they don't believe in Isa or Muhammad but still, they don't commit shirk like sunnis and shias. I went to a Synagogue during the shabat back when I was a sunni. Back then I found it a bit foriegn, but looking back at it, it was really nice. Jews are the only other people with who we can go and make assembly with and it would be perfectly fine. I wish Jews and Muslims could get a long. (

Can there be a reconciliation between the Jews and the Muslims? There are some Jews, as well as some Muslims, who believe this is a definate possibility.

There are such clear similarities between Jews and Muslims that the two could undoubtedly be seen as, in a sense, the same religion (i.e. "millat Ibrahiym". When it comes to the concept of monotheism ("tawhiyd" among the two differing groups, even in comparison the Islaamic sects, there are still definate similarities

When seen from a Qur'aanic viewpoint, when it comes to monotheistic belief, a "muslim" should be nearly identical to a Jew, and the early generations of Jews (during the days of Moses) were actually called "muslimoon" in the Qur'aan... Perhaps, one day we can put aside our few differences and gather as one people, united in worshipping the One God...
