Does truth fear investigation?
Does truth need laws to protect it from being questioned?
Does truth need to throw those who appose it in jail?
hmmIs there any other historical event that you can be thrown in jail for daring to question in the "free" world?

I suppose it depends on what you think of as the "free world", I'm not sure it actually exists. But certainly you cannot be thrown into jail for questioning historical events in the UK or US as far as I know

Peace to all,
the only thought crime in the world that is officially punished with prison is to question the holocaust, there are many example of this even today Rev, so do you think one should be thrown in prison for historical research? And who says Hitler wasnt a christian? So you cant be a christian and shit down some churches, in fact he left almost all of them open and left them alone, and attended regularly himself, and who says he cant arrest a priest, they still arrest and imprison them today dont they?

Well yes that's true. I don't think anyone should be jailed for historical research nor for their beliefs.

yes I truly agree. Sad thing is, in countries like iran/north korea they arrest people for political beliefs.
-
That has happened in almost every country in the world at sometime in their history. But it does not make it right.
yes. It is something worth fighting against in my opinion.

The situation in North Korea reminds of the book 1984, if any of you know what I'm talking about... )

Hitler was certainly not a Christian, he ordered thousands of churches closed, imprisoned many Priests and Ministers etc.
from my understanding he was not a Christian but was astute enough to realize the importance of not overly/blatantly aggravating Christians, and as such was pretty much ambiguous in his position towards Christians and the Christian populace, churches, leaders etc.
I'm sure some of you have some basic knowledge as do I about him being influenced by occult/ancient germanic/nordic pagan beliefs

That is correct. His Nazi doctrine was fast becoming an alternative to religion and, in fact, becoming a religion in itself. Many of his party members viewed Hitler as the messiah and followed him blindly. Strangely, it is also known that the "medium" that he consulted in his early days as Chancellor was actually known to be a Jew!
-
Peace to all,
actually, Hitler did hold religious beliefs, and he was a nominal catholic, and quotes the bible a few times in his books, but he was against the church because of its enormous power over the masses which he felt was being abused. He was also absolutely not into the occult, he hated it and even forbade its practice.

Wikipedia says that hitler said. "We do not want any other god than Germany itself. It is essential to have fanatical faith and hope and love in and for Germany."

That's why an extreme nationalism / facism can be considered as another form of idolatry.
Believing and doing bad deeds for the sake of an abstract concept called "Nationality".ZIONISM and PAN-ARABISM is infact born from the cradle of extreme nationalism / facism.
And they all share the same lunacy...Personally to me; doing bad deeds for the sake of anything is a kind of lunacy..
Salam / Peace
