Sahih International And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of Allah." And whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allah has certainly sustained a clear loss.

Yusuf Ali "I will mislead them, and I will create in them false desires; I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and to deface the (fair) nature created by Allah." Whoever, forsaking Allah, takes satan for a friend, hath of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest.

I am a bit confused about this verse, are there other verses related to this that can make this verse clear?

My understanding about this verse is that the Shaytaan/Satan is challenging God/Allah by declaring that he will mislead humans. Satan goes on by telling what sort of things he?ll do, such as

    1. I will mislead them
    2. I will create in them false desires
    3. I will order them to slit the ears of cattle
    4. I will command them so they will change the creation of Allah

Two points are not clear to me
What?s the exact meaning behind point 3? Slitting the ears of cattle it?s not a sentence that I am finding compatible in this context (if I read this literally) so my understanding is that it must have another meaning.
-Point number 4 it?s vague in this case and doesn?t really help when it comes to understand what changes it refers to. So the subject is ?Creation of God?(humans, animals, anything created by God)
What kind of change does it refer to?
