An English translation of the Gospel - James 519 My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring that person back, 20 remember this Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.

Here we read that turning a sinner from the error of their way will save from death and cover a multitude of sins!

Obviously if you save a person from delusion and vanishing due to the delusion, this is a commendable act. It may also show your ability to use intelligence since it is hard to turn someone from darkness.

Deluded people may be annoying, but if you can go against your annoyance and still strive to help them then this is clearly a merit. It shows you can restrain your instincts too that wishes to place you in a separate folder, perhaps seeing yourself as above them.

Patience is important here. Most of the time i found out at the time when the opportunity was there that i had little to no patience.

Of course knowledge, wisdom and love is essential in preaching to the right person.

          Patience is important, yes.

Wisdom is the skill of using the knowledge and process what you experience in a sound way. Logic and wisdom go tightly together.

Knowledge is important, but much less useful if there is a lack of wisdom.

The word love has some linguistic problems. One must differentiate between love due to emotional attachment and love as in care for general development. Love when it becomes an instinct is not good for it is usually restricted. When you can care for a bad person (or a person you simply dislike) for the sake of general development you fit for the word love, even if I have a distaste for the word because of its usually primitive application.

People turn against me when I tell them to abandon Hadith, some call it Kufr and some say its my pride. To be honest, I'm scared I might lose alot of people if I tell them the truth and my parents will be sooo upset.

                Salam,

if a sinner turns believer and does good works, he will be saved from the retribution of God, and God will forgive many sins if He wills.
I think actively turning people to the truth, or spreading the truth, is equivalent to striving in the cause of God. Those who strive in the cause of God will have great rewards, if I understood it correctly in Quran.

                Salam

In some countries it is wiser to keep it to yourself. If you are a minor and still rely on your parents it can be unwise to disclose your faith to them especially if they are fanatics since they can potentially make an irrational move against you or restrict your personal freedom.

If you live in a relatively safe country and do not rely on your parents I would not care about the loss of relationships due to adhering to what you feel is right. Your relationship to them is quite shallow in that case and their religious belief causes them to behave irrationally. Religion is probably the most dumbing factor in human activities making people evade logic and reason in favor of a religious source carrying authority reinforced by its reputation.

In many cases these people are ready to reject EMPIRICAL science in favor of what their scripture is claimed to say. Empirical is that you can clearly prove something while people can observe the results and they can be recorded somewhere, and each time you repeat the test it produces the same results.

An English translation of the Quran - 737 Who is more wicked than he who invents lies about God, or denies His revelations? These will receive their recompense from the record; so that when Our messengers come to terminate their lives, they will say "Where are those whom you used to call on besides God?" They said "They have abandoned us!" And they bore witness upon themselves that they were rejecters.

An English translation of the Quran - 10104 Say "O people, if you are in doubt of my system, then I do not serve those whom you serve besides God. But I serve God; the One who will terminate your lives; and I have been commanded to be of the believers."

An English translation of the Quran - 3513 He merges the night into the day, and He merges the day into the night. And He has commissioned the sun and the moon, each running for an appointed term. Such is God your Lord; to Him is the sovereignty. And as for those whom you pray to besides Him, they do not possess even the shell of a seed.

An English translation of the Quran - 3540 Say "Do you see the partners whom you have called on besides God? Show me what they have created on the earth. Or do they possess any partnership in the heavens? Or have We given them a book wherein they are taking knowledge from it? Indeed, what the transgressors promise one another is no more than arrogance."

An English translation of the Quran - 4066 Say "I have been prohibited from serving those whom you are calling upon besides God, since the proofs have come to me from my Lord. And I have been commanded to submit to the Lord of the worlds."
