Why do atheists hate Qur'an aloners?
-
This doesn't make sense. When you tell an atheist that there are hadiths contradicting the Qur'an, they become furious laugh They will attack you, and tell you that without hadith there can be no Islam. Are they afraid that they will lose the opportunity to attack Islam? Is their hatred of Islam so immense? laugh

Peace,
Atheists and the Authors of Lies (e.g., Hadith Writers) are the two sides of one Coin--Satan's...Thus, they will defend Their Master's efforts--To Make Humans Atheists (Kaffer) or Hadith Followers (Moshriks).)

Do you include in this group "modern Hadith followers i.e Edip and Rk followers ? Or you are going to exempt them ?

Atheists regard religion the same way the extremists do. That way they have a nice easy target against religion. Critics of Islam are the same way. Robert Spencer will review 'reformers' by demanding they reconcile their views with every dominate voice in Orthodoxy from the last 1,500 years. He'd never ask a Protestant Christian to do that.

What hadiyths do they follow? -\ Maybe you should include yourself in this list, since you seem to idolize the Arabic language to a huge degree, even to the point of alleging that the Qur'aan "can't be translated" and that every REAL muslim "must learn Arabic". Edip studying history and psychology, along with the late Rashad Khalifa writing his (admittedly) opinionated appendices with the help of the Qur'aan, and applying them to the study of the scripture is hardly as bad as what you do.
Don't be a hypocrite. God is the Judge, and He will judge equitably.

I have an atheist friend who understands my position and supports it, so there are exceptions to this. However, there are also atheist islamophobes (like Sam Harris, author of the End of Faith) who soundly blames Islam for Islamoterrorism. Of course he'd be VERY unhappy when he sees the Quran minus hadith will not bear such an imperialist ideology.

Peace,
I remember when some members here used to get into arguments with the nutjobs over at Faithfreedom.com
They hated us because when we argued with them saying that the hadith are not a part of Islam, they had virtually no defense. I mean what are they going to criticize us on? The only thing they could do was bring a mistranslation of a verse, or take a verse out of its context. It was actually hilarious to watch them try to convince us that the hadith were a necessary part of Islam. The irony is that they are just as hungry for the hadith as are the traditional Muslims.

peace be upon you,
maybe they are just envious that GOD gave us one of the great miracles
