If we take historical context of explanations out of mind, it is very hard to tell who is addressee of this Sura? Furthermore, my question to people who are familiar with Arabic linguistics is that, which word in this Sura points out that it was addressed to prophet himself? I do not find any words like Mohammad, Rasool or Nabi suggestive of this.

    Al-?Alaq
(Historically The clinging or suspended substance)

    Surah 96 1

Learn the knowledge and science of principles, with there foundation from your Sustainer, Maintainer and Fosterer; that is from the One, (who?s knowledge is) measured and proportioned.

    Surah 96 2

Measured and proportioned; the sociable, companionable, conversable and friendly; (all human beings) to be among, whom adhere and hold fast to this (the knowledge and science of principles).

    Surah 96 3

Learn the knowledge and science of principles and what your Sustainer, Maintainer and Fosterer considers highly esteemed, precious, excellent, valuable and rare.

    Surah 96 4

These very principles are hoped to prevent you from being with the detractors or editors. (The detractors - people who disparages or devalues somebody or something / Editors - to select and arrange information, to publish selected information, to censor others)

    Surah 96 5

Their hope (of these detractors) is, for human beings to remain prevented from all they yet are not certain of with true knowledge, taking things as true and certain without being discovered or consciously perceived, practically for validation.

    Surah 96 6

Truly, the sociable, companionable, friendly and conversable are by no means like those, exceeding the just limit and measures.

    Surah 96 7

I judge, consider and hold them, with this method, a state of competence, and because of this, content and satisfied.

    Surah 96 8

Truly, your ending is with your Sustainer, Maintainer and Fosterer. To Me is the return.

    Surah 96 9

Invite those of intelligence and of non-intelligence, each so that they refrain, restrain and desist from conjecture and what is not mentioned from me.

    Surah 96 10

A state of servitude and of worshiping, then is, cunning, crafty and worthy of causing disgust or hatred to Me.

    Surah 96 11

Invite those of intelligence and non-intelligence, each to be able to guide themselves upon right direction.

    Surah 96 12

It is commanded and enjoined upon you, be with the ones who are in a state that is strong, vigorous and robust, both mentally and physically.

    Surah 96 13

Invite those of intelligence and non-intelligence. (Even) If they lie, utter falsehoods or give untrue accounts of a thing, whether intentionally or unintentionally (attributed as) from Me.

    Surah 96 14

Have not they become acquainted, both inferentially, and intuitively with who is not illah(God), and see through my mind and eyes.

    Surah 96 15

As a matter of fact, if indeed they don?t refrain from conjecture, and what is not mentioned from Me, none will change their resultant blackened colour. Unless being with those who have the power upon this affair from Me.

    Surah 96 16

Those with power over affairs from me, will take control of uttered falsehood and untrue account of things whether intentional, or unintentional; as well as over all intentional mistakes and errors.

    Surah 96 17

Broken and defeated are those repelling harshly and violently. This is a calamity for them.

    Surah 96 18

Who hits, and repels harshly, and violently. Such ones are whom exalt themselves, or are insolvent, and audacious in pride, and in actions of rebellion and disobedience.

    Surah 96 19

As a matter of fact, do not be, with those who are in a state of subjugation and lowly; by lowering heads (in subservience) and because of this getting scarce and limited, with respect of means and resources, from me.

It seem true that no where in the text, it appears tp be addressed to the Prophet alone, as is widely interpreted, based on stories and Hadith literature. If for a moment, we only try to understand it all with the wordings of the Quran ( as it should always be ), then the translation above is addressed to all humanity and seem to be a very powerful message.

Is this again with the technique with word breakdown based on Gezm, shadda, etc etc, which you have been pointing out earlier as well?

You are correct kn. This methodolgy simplifies the understanding of Alkitab to a teen level. In addition, message seems to be getting more profound and universal. Doesn't?
