    salam aleikum,

Everyone, I have come to this site in hopes that I can find (a) study partner(s).
I wish that I can befriend a people that can help me grow towards what's better and what's right.
I believe that being in contact with other believers can help me stay on the right path..

My name is Robert and I am 21 years old.
I wish I could write a thousands words and keep your attention to the very last.
The truth is that I get headaches reading books and never finished one, nor had I ever
finished a personal project of mine. I love to be a simple man, and to speak simple
words, but within my mind my thoughts race, sometimes I speak in a manner
not easy to follow, other times I say things that doesn't even make sense.

Not sure what that was all about, but I just wanted to give you an idea of who I am.
If you would like to get in contact with me, feel free to do so. I'm am not sure
if giving my Skype is a smart idea but here you go

I was also thinking of making a Discord server so that there could be a "gathering"
and lots of things could be discussed.

Alright, thanks for reading and I am waiting for a reply.

      peace,

      Welcome.

What topics would you like to study and why?

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

        Salam aleikum,

        Hey, thanks for your reply.
My interest really goes out towards understanding what the verses are saying.
Along therewith, it'd be good to have a friend who is equally interested.

I have noticed, that among the Qur'anists (muslims) there are still different
ways of practicing. Which is understandable. If we then look towards the
learned people among the Qur'anists (muslims), we see that there is STILL
a difference of opinion-- even in the most serious of matters like the salat.

I believe that combining forces is a very important thing to do, it makes
us put things into perspective, it keeps us on our toes, our faith becomes
a larger part of our life. It might also give one another a reality check on
their sincerity towards the deen. To my perception, this all would seem
        to lighten the load.

Hi Robert welcome to the forum handshake

Hope you will find a study partner.
You can always write down your findings here and test if they will survive the critical eye of the members here.
I don't think there will be ever a unity in how to understand the quran, we differ to much.

            Peace,

Thank you for your response and your kind words.
And I would like to say sorry for my late reply. I think that it should be
impossible that we are in disunion because of our disagreement on what
the Book says. The fact that we are not in absolute clarity of what we are
supposed to do is the very thing that should make us bind together.. not
divide. I'm not used to using forums so I hope that I can make this a habit
of mine and peek around to read what others have to say. I mean we could
be in disagreement for longer than a life time (Sunni, Shia, etc).

              Greetings and Peace, all group

              @Robert welcome

267 And Moses said to his people "God orders you to slaughter a heifer." They said "Do you mock us?" He said "I seek refuge with God that I not be of the ignorant ones."

268 They said "Call upon your Lord for us that He may clarify which it is." He said "He says it is a heifer neither too old nor too young, an age between that. So now do as you are commanded."

269 They said "Call upon your Lord for us that He may clarify what color it is." He said "He says it is a yellow heifer with a strong color, pleasing to those who see it."

270 They said "Call upon your Lord for us that He may clarify which one it is, for the heifers all look alike to us and we will, God willing, be guided."

271 He said "He says it is a heifer which was never subjugated to plough the land, or water the crops, without any patch." They said "Now you have come with the truth." And they slaughtered it, though they had nearly not done so.

Sometimes humans have a tendency to make simple things complex--the subroutines that we choose (within our individual understanding) within the system are not so much THE way as A way. Where there are not specific details, anything/everything that fills the known requirements will suffice.

1736 And do not uphold what you have no knowledge of. For the hearing, eyesight, and mind, all these you are responsible for.

2856 You cannot guide whom you love. But it is God who guides whom He wills; and He is fully aware of those who receive the guidance.

May ALLAH see fit to Guide all seekers. peace
