Before reading the Quran

As-Salamu Aleykum, all.
I remember, in the Quran, it says (dont remember the number of sura / ayah and exact words) that we should seek refuge in God from accursed satan before reading the book. I got questions for example - people using ayahs in their posts on this forum, should i say 'i seek refuge in God from accursed satan' before reading each ayah (i mean, if ayas are in different posts / topics). I want to know your opinion - what the purpose of this rule, when u /are u sayin these words? -

When thou dost read the Qur'an, seek Allah's protection from Satan the rejected one.
What is the purpose of this rule? Shaitaan is the destructive/alienating/rebellious force in the human psyche. Quran is the antidote to this force. Therefore when you read Quran, you must take care not to let your interpretation serve the purpose of Shaitaan. A glance at the preceding context helps elucidate this
What is with you must vanish what is with Allah will endure. And We will certainly bestow, on those who patiently persevere, their reward according to the best of their actions.
Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has Faith, verily, to him will We give a new Life, a life that is good and pure and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions.

It does not say "say i seek..." I'd say that it is a frame of mind and that we should concentrate while reading the reading/quran and not get carried away by our selfish desires/thoughts.
