Rant on Oral Divorce and it's basis in the Book

Divorce has got to be one of the most gross misinterpretation and twisting of God's rule, and what Allah has ordained as fair has been made something oppressive.
I've been reading a lot and I don't see how oral divorce has any basis in the Book. This is a 7th century custom that has been lumped onto us to follow. The Quran says , "When you divorce your wives..." at most, no where does it even mention oral divorce. I've always found it extremely unfair how men somehow have the right to utter divorce from their tongue while women have to endure going to a court. But now I see this has no basis in the Book.
The Book has been made for all times and places, so in a society where there is no court, he'll probably take it to a village leader/setting/party etc. For places where there are courts he'll take it to a court, just as how a woman would do. And only and only in situations where a husband and wife may live in an area where there is no authority or higher ruling then perhaps oral divorce (saying 'I divorce you 3 times', basically spitting on her face) is something never mentioned even once in the Quran.
So the idea that we have to follow something cruel and oppressive like Oral Divorce in today's world is absurd. Ofcourse we can hardly expect a change in the muslim world as majority follow 'hadith' which might mention oral divorce, oh and these same hadith mention the Prophet playing with his 6 year old wife, condemning to death anyone who insulted him, enslaving women as sex slaves, murdering entire tribes, insulting blacks and jews and countless other nonsense hadith preach.
These people have abandoned what Allah said and follow what others say.
If a couple fears separation, you shall appoint an arbitrator from his family and an arbitrator from her family; if they decide to reconcile, God will help them get together. God is Omniscient, Cognizant.
This isn't a suggestion, this is a COMMAND by the divine Lord, yet a somehow a Muslim man is taught to believe he can divorce a wife on her face without following this step GOD ordered.
Those who intend to divorce their wives shall wait four months (cooling off); if they change their minds and reconcile, then God is Forgiver, Merciful. If they go through with the divorce, then God is Hearer, Knower
This is clearly not referring to iddah, it's the before steps. It commands a husband to wait four months, yet for some reason muslims are led to believe despite this oral divorce somehow makes sense and they can divorce their wives on the spot.
tl;dr oral divorce is something cruel and insulting that is no where mentioned in the Book, and isn't compatible with the above two verses, it only makes sense that both the couple need to go to a court/family/higher authority to get divorced (esp by the two witnesses verse).

ok sorry for the bad language I had to let it out.It's not just divorce, polygamy, after divorce rights, inheritance it's ALL been twisted my sectarians too seem so oppressive and unfair, 7th century unholy customs added in.
I was so afraid I might quit islam because the nonsense they preach is so oppressive. I don't know how I lived for all those years as a sunni thinking oral divorce is something Allah sanctioned. Now that I know the truth I can tell myself I won't f*cking let these scholars and their twisting and their lies ruin my relationship with my God.

It reminds me of ancient Egyptians who did not have a ceremony legal or otherwise for marriage. The marriage that existed was a de facto marriage, if two people spend the night under the same roof, they were considered married.
On the other hand you did have to go to the courts for divorce.
I think that makes a lot of sense.
The oral divorce it seems that it need even not to be told to the face but done on the phone or through sms, which is a bigger joke.
