Just read about this Brazilian guy today on a dutch news site, it's about a guy who disappeared and left some strange signs behind.
It seems it's already a couple of weeks old story.

His mum says he was totally fine but anyone that obsessive is clearly flirting with the danger zone there, esp the breakdown at the end when he locks himself away. Reminds me of that girl who died in a water tank with the vid of her talking to some invisible entity etc. Hope he's found hiding somewhere before he hurts himself or an alien.

Next thing he will show up far away from home. The family might be in on this too rotflThen the money begin coming...On the 6th of June, he will be back.

It's already a couple of weeks if he is not found dead somewhere, I think he will come back as a messiah and start his own sect.
He did take 10.000 BR, which is about 3200 USD. That is sufficient for a couple of months in Brazil, for a single person not paying rent.

Elisa Lam huh? That was one creepy case. Strangely, after that, there was an outbreak of tuberculosis among the homeless in that area. Without asking her parents, they have been trying to market the idea that she was suffering from it at the time.

But they are now convinced his disappearance has something to do with his mysterious project and have asked for help cracking the code.
