Ahem...Well I guess it's our beloved Achmed who educated me about the 72 Virgins that righteous men are rewarded in paradise. I'm not sure if the statement is accurate, but there is a lot of info in the Qur'an that talks about pure, fair, wide-eyed maidens, or the Hur al 3ayn hmm wow ...It's a bit embarrassing when my non-muslim friends ask me about this Playboy Bunny Paradise!! What do I say?

And is it true that Prophet Suleiman had 300 wives or something? Wow...how did he manage to treat them all "equally"?

Why be embarrassed from them, have you not seen Vegas, music videos, television, today's desired lifestyle?

300 wives and 700 concubines no problem, equally one night every 3rd year and equally provided for livelihood.

      Salaam Crimson Glow,

Allah views men and women as equals, no disparity exists, only within the minds of men.

When your consciousness leaves this physical reality you shed your base desires, you therefore shed the persona of sexuality, men and women in the next reality have no physical difference, you can not have sex, reproduce, lust, so the idea of virgins getting abused by a sad act who sees reward as the subjugation of women for carnal pleasure, is purely a man made concept.

I have written an essay on Jannah, posted on my website if you want to have a read.

I don't understand why only in Islam Hura is translated as big-eyed virgin whereas in Persian and Syriac it means illumination of some sort.

Here is the translation and the discussion on this subject from Quran a Reformist Translation

4451 The righteous will be in a place of secu-rity.
        4452 Among paradises and springs.
4453 Wearing silk and satin; facing each other.
4454 So it is, and We coupled them with won-derful companions.*
4455 They enjoy in it all kinds of fruits, in perfect peace.
4456 They do not taste death therein except for the first death, and He has spared them the retribution of hell.
4457 As a blessing from your Lord. Such is the great triumph.
4458 We have thus made it easy in your lan-guage, perhaps they may take heed.
4459 Therefore, keep watch; for they too will keep watch.

044-054 The word hur means intelligent, pure, daz-zling friend; male or female. Words derived from the same root are used to mean back and forth conversa-tion (hiwar, muhawara) (1834,37; 581), disciple or true friend (hawary) (352; 5111-112; 6114), and to return (8414). See 5220; 5572; 5622.

5217 The righteous are in paradises and bliss.
5218 Delighted by what their Lord has granted them; and their Lord has spared them the retribution of hell.
5219 Eat and drink happily because of what you used to do.
5220 They recline on arranged furnishings, and We coupled them with wonderful companions.*
5221 Those who acknowledged, and their progeny also followed them in acknowl-edgement; We will have their progeny join them. We never fail to reward them for any work. Every person is paid for what he did.
5222 We will supply them with fruit and meat such as they desire.
5223 They will exchange one with another a cup in which there is no harm, nor regret.
5224 Around them will be children like pro-tected pearls.
5225 They came to one another asking.
5226 They said, "We used to be compassion-ate among our people."
5227 "God thus blessed us, and has spared us the agony of the fiery winds."

        **

5560 Is there any reward for goodness except goodness?
5561 So which of your Lord's favors will you deny?
5562 Besides these will be two other para-dises.
5563 So which of your Lord's favors will you deny?
        5564 Dark green in color.
5565 So which of your Lord's favors will you deny?
5566 In them, two springs which gush forth.
5567 So which of your Lord's favors will you deny?
5568 In them are fruits, date palms, and pomegranate.
5569 So which of your Lord's favors will you deny?
5570 In them is what is good and beautiful.
5571 So which of your Lord's favors will you deny?
        5572 Companions, inside grand pavilions.*
5573 So which of your Lord's favors will you deny?
5574 No human has ever touched them, nor Jinn.
5575 So which of your Lord's favors will you deny?
5576 Reclining on green carpets, in beautiful surroundings.
5577 So which of your Lord's favors will you deny?
5578 Glorified be the name of your Lord, Pos-sessor of Majesty and Honor.

        **

5610 Those foremost; who will be from those foremost?
5611 They will be the ones who are brought near.
5612 In the paradises of bliss.
5613 Many from the first generations.*
5614 A few from the later generations.
        5615 Upon luxurious furnishings.
5616 Residing in them, neighboring each other.
5617 Moving amongst them will be immortal children.
5618 With cups and pitchers, drinks which are pure.
5619 They do not run out, nor do they get bored.
        5620 Fruits of their choice.
5621 Meat of birds that they desire.*
        5622 Wonderful companions,
5623 Like pearls which are sheltered.
5624 A reward for their works.
5625 They never hear any nonsense therein, nor sinful utterances.
5626 Only the utterances of "Peace. Peace."
        The Lower Heaven
5627 Those on the right; who will be with those on the right?
        5628 In lush orchards.
        5629 Fruit-trees which are ripe.
        5630 Extended shade.
        5631 Flowing water.
        5632 Many fruits.
        5633 Neither ending; nor forbidden.
        5634 Raised furnishings.
5635 We have produced them in a special way.
        5636 Made them young.
        5637 A perfect match.
5638 For those on the right side.
5639 Many from the early generations.
5640 Many from the later generations.

        Peace,
        Edip

I think it is Important to Note a Key Element...

I dont know the exact ayat (Someone please help)

but it says basically that Jannah "Paradise" is Greater than what the Mind and Heart can fathom.
Meaning it is NOT of this EARTH (Dunya) and is Greater than what we can even Imagine...

So, When it says Paradise will have/be like "Rivers, and Fruits, and Virgins, etc....
We should bear in mind that the Quran first says that Paradise is GREATER than what we can IMAGINE...

So, without creating a Contradiction, Really understand what is being Said here...

I think that ALLAH Communicates with us on a Level that we can Understand and Comprehend.
          We can Comprehend
          1)Rivers
          2)Fruit
          3)Ginger Ale "Zangabil" Drink
          4)Virgins

But if you understand the verse of Paradise being Greather than What we can comprehend...
we Understand that these are ONLY examples of Great things in this Dunya...and Paradise will be infantile (x)Times Better than that.

Meaning...The Fruit will be Unlike Earthly Fruit, The Ginger Drink will be Unlike Earthly Ginger Drink, the virgins will be unlike earth virgins
Understand that a "Physical Human Virgin" here, I am sure if very very different to a "Paradise Virgin"...

I believe its just examples of things which we feel have Great Value here in this life...that way we can understand a little better.

When I think of Jannah, I dont LITERALLY think of Rivers,Virgins, and Fruits.... infact...I dont really think of anything...because I KNOW it will be greater than anything I can even Imagine!

          Do you understand or agree?

Oh and BTW, I dont like Jefferey Dunham or his Ahmed Terrorist.
I think its really pathetic and Lame Comedy.
He is really un-funny,and has cheesy jokes that really dont appeal to me ...(in my opinion)..But thats cool if you like him..Your entitled your Opinion too.

I also dont like his Ahmed Terrorist, because not only is it Cheap fake Laughs, but it also helps the kaffir american view of "All middle eastern Muslims are terrorists". And not being overly sensitive here. I am Cuban-Muslims and get crap all the time about it and jokes from this Ahmed terrorist skit.

Its really lame, and that not even how Sunni's act. I know Millions of Sunnis... Now maybe SOME sunnis here and there but you have to admit...it is a rarity. I mean... there's not BILLIONS of Ahmed Muslims running around saying "Death to the infidel". Maybe SOME...

How many times can you say "I KILL YOU!" and "Jihad!" for it to be that Funny... i mean... okay we get it already...
          brickwall brickwall

*I'll stick with Classic Eddie Murphy/Richard Pryer/Demiti martin (sometimes)/and Dave Chappelle....
          Now THATS funny!

            Peace, Crimson_Glow

My understanding is that gender (male/female) is a temporary test phase in this plane of existence.
On the other side, when we have moved on luckily to the state in Heaven, we will have the chance to be paired
in new companionships that are more profound, and devoid of "impurities"...
Gender here down below is, I reiterate, a test ..., and Allah knows best...

            Salaam

Are those non-Muslim friends girls? Because my guess is that at the physical level only women and men with problems or a different orientation would unwelcome the idea of voluptuous chicks.

I am not getting into whether or not the Quran tells us that hot babes are awaiting the inhabitants of paradise, but I would have them rather than raisins.

Paradise is not Jannah, this predominant understanding is the Christianised paradise concept, (a physical manifestation of a great natural forest with fruit trees and clear rivers etc.), this is not the one I?m alluding to when stating Jannah, and is concurrently, not the one the Qur?an is alluding to either.

Jannah means a garden hidden in foliage, this is not a physical description of a garden of paradise, it is a metaphoric garden, filled with abundant growth, a place that things grow and develop in (not plants), a garden for the self to expand and grow.

Paradise is the wrong word, Jannah would be better understood as a fertile place, to facilitate a state of growth, of our self (Ruh), our consciousness, we can attain this state to a degree within this reality, the concept of Jannah is confused with that of Salat which is to manifest a version of paradise physically in this world; although one mans paradise is another mans hell, and of course, one mans hell is another mans paradise, dependent upon their driving force and perspective.

This is the concept expressed as garden, and this is the reason you can grow in this life as well as the next, the Qur?an is describing the same concept of growth, therefore the same garden, fertile place, can exist and be employed in this physical reality.

If you read the essay on my website the concepts are linked with the verses of the Qur'an, thank you.

Hummm... hmm So let me get this Straight...
This is what I first learned last year

In the English language, we generally use the word heaven to mean the spiritual plane of eternal happiness, the reward for a righteous life and the opposite of hell, the place of eternal punishment. However, this was not always the case; the word heaven comes from the Old English word heofon, used to denote the sky, which is the area above the earth where the celestial bodies are. Eventually, heaven lost its original meaning and came to imply Paradise. In Arabic, however, there have always been two separate words used, sama and jennah. The word sama is used for the skies above us, and they are part of the temporary world which will be destroyed on the Day of Judgement. The word jennah, however, denotes Paradise, the land of eternal bliss, the permanent home of the righteous believers, and the opposite of Hell.

?Then He completed and finished from their creation as seven heavens in two Days and He made in each heaven its affair. And We adorned the nearest heaven with light sources to be an adornment, as well as to guard. Such is the Decree of Him the All-Mighty, the All-Knower.? (Quran 4112) ?Their Lord gives them glad tidings of a Mercy from Him, and that He is pleased, and of Gardens (jennah) for them wherein are everlasting delights. They will dwell therein forever. Verily, with God is a great reward.? (Quran 921-22)

"It is Allah Who recalls the souls of men upon their death, and of the living during their sleep. He withholds the souls of those on whom He has passed the decree of death, and restores the rest till an appointed term. Surely there are signs in this for those who think." Qur'an 39 42.

So, I believe there are different spiritual Planes or "heavens"...(7).

Now, You are telling me that There is a Distinction Between ...Jannah...and Paradise.
Why would there be so much confusion? Not only did I find out I was wrong about /Heaven/Jennah....But Now I find out that I am wrong about Jannah/Paradise?

What is the Arabic word used for paradise in the Quran? and why is Jannah Used to believed? Did the Arabs of Muhammahd's time believe in this same distinction that you are speaking of? or was it at least mentioned historically around this time...(without the christian influence that you claim?)

                  Also, question for everyone....
Have you ever Head of SABAATU SAMAWATU,? what does it mean? Thanks...

                    Salaam RA786,

I had no idea anyone would be upset from my view of Jannah, you could investigate things historically, however history is not always the most reliable source, as often others have tampered or removed events to manifest a version of history they wish to propagate.

You can of course apply reason, a much more reliable method; can you manifest paradise on this Earth, the answer is absolutely not, it is not conducive to true paradise, but it would be simple to establish a community that developed and nurtured each member to grow and improve themselves, a fertile place of growth, that bears fruit.

As you discovered last year, heaven is another Christian concept implanted into Islam, just as the concept of Hell has been, I've written an explanation of that also on my website, not wishing to upset you further.

Oh. Please Bother Abdun Nur, dont think me to be Offended or angry! hahah! laugh
I hope I did not sound angry to you. It was not at all my intentions to come off in a manner like that.

Rather it sometimes is my frustrations.... You see...After joining the free-minds website I have learned some new concepts and ideas...sometimes within the process, I get frustrated because of what I deem to be further confusion. Things that are new or different to me get me a little frustrated.
It doesnt mean that they are "Right" or "Wrong"...its just a frustrating process when exploring new things and leaving old things.

As far as I am concerned about this Theory you have presented, I need more evidence and time to either Agree or Refute my current Position.

Currently I hold the belief that There is a Heaven and Hell. Or to be More precise A place or Infinite Righteous Rewarding/pleasureful Dwelling...and a Place of endless torment and recompense Aka...a "Heaven" "Paradise" "Jannah" and a "Hell"

Now, What I dont understand is, How can this be a "Christian" Doctrine/Concept, if it is in the Quran? and How/Why then If it is a "Christian" Concept is it believed to be the final dwelling place by Most Muslims today and Historically?

What I dont understand is that There doesn't seem to be a Valid or Logical Reason for me to believe your Theory.
For example...Why would this false doctrine be invented in the first place?
                      and where is the proof?

Then, for there NOT to be a Heaven and Hell...Doesnt that seem at all Un-just? or Contradictory to Allah's Word?
In the Quran, Allah says in the Hereafter...There will be a place of Punishment and a place of Enjoyment...

So, are you going to refute the Quran?

Perhaps I just dont understand what you are trying to say. I will look at your website.
Because...Do you believe In a place of punishment and a place of Reward at all?
and if not...Then how does One get their Recompense from Allah?

*I have Read your Website about the Paradise Issue as well as the Hell issue...and Still havent been able to understand your concept.
Perhaps I need to look it over with a magnifying glass slower...lol

Oh, But I want to add... The rest of the material on your website is 100% awesome! I will keep in touch. ;D D
I was so intrigued by your knowledge on the Zionists, elite, energy fields, relms, and Writings on "Allah".
alhumdulilah. There is some good things I seen on there.... Some of the newer concepts I stand a little skeptical about...but overall, great amout of research and Explanations! Kudos my friend. D

                        Salaam RA786,

it's not that heaven was invented, it was adopted, or more accurately exchanged, as Christians converted to Islam they brought Christian points of view, just as Jews and Zoroastrians did, this altered Islams truth, they transformed Islam from a Deen into a Religion, as they viewed it as such, exchanging one religion for another, I only use the words Paradise and Hell within my essays on the subject as reference to the predominant understanding, but on reflection this maybe a confusing application, would you agree, I should remove all reference to these Christian concepts,as they have no reality in Islam.

Jannah - A fertile place. Infinite truth. A place to transform from state to state in a perpetual evolution of consciousness.

Jahannam - pure nothingness. A place of purity, the final refuse for cleansing the consciousness to ultimately transform from state to state within Jannah.

I have written an explanation of the purpose of humanities creation on my website, have you read that one?

Thanks for Replying Brother. As-salam to you.

I understand your points, and I view all Mankind as Snowflakes... Every single one of us are Different Beatuiful Crystals that all have the Same or Similair structure, but Still have our individual Characteristics. We all come One Source....Water....Water is our Essense... we then Depart the "Source",
Then we Come together up in the sky collected as One Unity...Then Fall from the sky as individuals...Then Collect backtoegather with the Source at the ground...or Ocean...

We all have different Fingerprints, and a Different Mind...So I acknowledge and Respect Diverse Views or Opinions.
It only makes me reflect even more of the Omnipotence of Allah...our Lord.

I enjoy reading your works. I agree with Most of what you say, but I think the diving factor is more of language. we just explain things in different ways.
                          D

I liked the Allah (no God) meaning no Sky God Separate from us...
I think the only confusing thing about that to some would just be that at first, but once read and re-read...its more clearer.

My View on Allah is this...
Allah is the Most Omnipresent Omnipotent Divine Eternal Source. I.e. "Thee Source" from which all is created.
Each of us have a little spark of this "Energy" that was *breathed into us.
Allah is above all forms of Limitation of creation...Such as Light,Complexion,Color,Smell,Taste, Appearance, Gender, Species, etc..
Because in order to be at such level of superiority, He must not be bound by Limitation...(a concept very hard to understand for humans)....
But Allah is not in the Heavens, Nor the Earth... But EVERYWHERE...without actually being specifically an Item...(if that makes sense)...
He is Closer to us...or rather...He is what Holds All of us together... He is the Only (lack of a better word Thing) that holds each and every strand of Atoms dark matter, and all things together.

Look inside yourself, Look out side your window, Look inside your consciousness, Look inside Others... You SEE ALLAH Everywhere...
But, You dont Actually See YOU as Allah, or your Earth as Allah, or your Consciousness as Allah, or Others as Allah.
You only SEE them as the individual "I" 's....But not the "ONE".... when you do find the "ONE" you realize the "WE".....

For instance, the Angles are NOT ALLAH... they are Individuals...but they are still apart of the "WE".... the "WE" is the royal ONE or "Allah"...
Us as Humans can also be apart of the "WE".... If "I", Feed a Homeless man...did "I" (EGO) really feed him? or did "Allah"?
well, in all reality... "Allah" fed him... I am not "I"individually Allah...No body is... But... "WE" are in Essene....A part of the Divine.

The Distinction between the EGO "I", and the "One".... (G.I.Gurdjieff talks about that alot). We must Understand that "I" Is EVIL...because it is Opposite of the "WE"....

In the human body...All of the Cells Collectively Act together.... When a Human-Homosapian Develops the Dis-ease Commonly Known as "Cancer"...
What Scientists have found, is that Cancer is essentially A Single Cell who has become "I"...an Individual and has Left the "Pack" or "School" or has Rebelled against the other Cells....Thus causing Death....

Symbolically, This could be looked at as iblis... iblis could be looked at as an angelic like Cell....a part of the "WE" once "ONE" in "UNITY",
But has Rebelled and became a Non-conformist "I"..Individual... He has Decided to Betray his Fellow Body or "Oneness"....
Since he has done that...He has Failed to Realize, that he is Only Now harming "Himself as an I" because It will lead to his Cancer-or Death(punishment).

If he was to just Submit to the Will of Allah, Meaning, Followed Orders and Worked with the "WE" and Remained in-tact... There would be NO EVIL...there would be None of this... But he has decided to jealously, Betray and follow his Ego, desire to be "I" Alone. Apart.Separate. Rebel.

I see the working towards Oneness as a Giant Wheel that is Spinning...or a Chain...If one Piece of Chain decides to separate...that Chane will find...that he is No good being alone...he was better being with the WHOLE...that was when the Purpose of the WHOLE chain was served.

In regards to Heaven and Hell... I think that that are MANY Astral realms, planes, (probably 7) maybe more?
In the Quran, it says that the Ones (I's) who betray the ONENESS and wish to do Evil and Crooked Deeds in this Dunya (Life), they will be Punished in Full...with Fire and Brimstone...

Fire and brimstone/Torture obviously is going to be a "Spiritual Punishment"...not a Physical Body punishment.
and Perhaps "Fire" is just a Symbolic Example so that we can Relate information and understand it as an Example.
Basically, There is Always an Opposite (Negitive/Positive) Reaction for every action. There is a Law of "Karma"...if you will.

It is Only Just...(like the law of gravity), that the Wicked be punished in a Just Measure that they deserve.
as we as the Good be Rewarded.

If that means that There will be a Spiritual Relm or Plane that is created JUST for them (the caner cells to be punished), then perhaps thats what needs to be done.

The Greatest Paradise would be a joy of being "One" again with teh Source. NOT Literally BEING that SOurce since that is Impossible.
but becoming ONE with? I don't know...
there is Still much to Learn.

I am just a raindrop looking for my return.... if I remain humble and patient...Inshallah Ill find my way...If I dont...then It will lead to my worthless landing on fire...burning up...denigrating...Cold, Dead, Alone. no joy. Sorrow, Ego... and Nothing.

Inshallah we all find our way..

What do you think about my View? Similair? Different? I would love to here your comments and discuss Heaven and Hell...or "Paradise and Torment".
                          D

                          As-salam

                            Salaam RA786,

if you consider the abundant evidence all around us, Allah is pure imaginative thought, we view this thought as forms of energy, to our perception, but it all flows from pure nothingness, as a dichotomy of circular time, spinning all reality into existence.

                            I am.

                            I am a reflection of a thought,
but reflect on the thought of my reflection.

                            I am nothing,
just the tiniest reflection on a calm ocean,
                            yet at the highest extent,
                            I reflect all creation.

                            If I consider well,
                            my ocean mirror shines.

                            If I reflect inanity,
                            ripples spiral.

I am nothing but the thought of the ocean.

Consider well to be a good thought,
what mind would hold long to bad.

                            A savoured thought,
                            a pleasure and amusement,
                            I?d labour to be,
not a repulsive thought dismissed into the ocean depths of misery.
