Correct me if i am wrong,

But I assume you are tyring to literally illustrate how "Majid al-haraam"..means "Forbidden House of Allah"..

therefore if it is really "Forbidden" when can we actually enter it.

am I right I saying that?

Id' like to question, Does the Quran actually use the word Haraam for the masjid? does it actually say "forbidden"?

its kind of weird that ONLY the king of saudi is allowed to enter...

So I guess its the "Forbidden Masjid"...(except for the king of saudi arabia)..lol
      hmm fishy,

*I know this is off topic but I think we should have a fish smile. Like when you wanna say something smells fishy.(odd)
you can be like hmm, and the have a smelly fish picture... laugh

aram can also mean an Islamic holy site of very high sanctity

come on , what's holy about a pile of bricks and morter?

          2194
The prohibited (Al Haramu) month for the prohibited month,- and so for all things prohibited,- there is the law of equality. If then any one transgresses the prohibition against you, Transgress ye likewise against him. But fear Allah, and know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves.

          2173
He hath only forbidden (harrama) you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that on which any other name hath been invoked besides that of Allah. But if one is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- then is he guiltless. For Allah is Oft-forgiving Most Merciful.

Haraam can only mean forbidden - from my understandings.

And you people do need to look to the roots of these words, what does sjd mean- its never a physical prostration at all its more of what we accept as commands, and a misjid isn't a building but man's actions, Masjid Al Haraam are the forbidden actions............

but saying all this its up to us what we want to follow...... handshake

well afridi, you must have an example

in punjabi Tui is upper back of person , whilst in mirpuri Tu is ones backside, i actualy came accross some people talking, one guy was talking about his back whilst the other guy assumed something other and bacame all shy.

I think we aought to look to dictionaries with a pinch of salt, as they will give all the meanings which a society is using.

On the other hand to analyse the quran you have to use common sense the roots and the topic structure of the quran to find out which is the meaning depicted.

Remember the language of the quran is some 1400 years old and its been grossly manipulated to my knowledge.

Again Nothing holy about bricks and morter, and it is your actions that matter and that to me is what the quran is mostly talking about.

              handshake

Yes, they are mere Bricks, yes it is just a building...But...There is alot of significance. I see it as the United Muslims Meeting Place.
Its like...headquarters.. (I know everyone on the Free-minds forum disagrees with me...but w/e)lol

Nothing wrong with that, but meeting or not meeting is irrespective of Godliness, to make our actions all good and avoid the bad ones is what makes us Godly.

I once argued with a brother here on your point that he was doing away with the meeting place of Muslim Umma, but he pointed out to me saying is it requirement in the quran, that is what we aught to see and then act on what is therein.

Just think two bricks of Gold will remain gold irrespective of where they are in the universe.

What i mean is...is it actually named "Masjid Al-haraam" in the Quran, or is that a made up name that Man made up?

The quran was made into a book form and copies where made and one was placed in Tashkent , one in egypt one in medina and i think there was a forth one as well. After the death of the prophet His family was more or less erredicated by Yazeed and the Meccan religion was brought back into play.

later on as not all the copies of the quran could be changed the meccans simply re-defined the meanings of the words- so although the word is in the quran exactly it was not a building originally- you can only come to such a conclusion after some lengthy research.

Of course saying that it doesn't make any difference to people like myself and others here who believe simerlary whether people take it as a building or look to the original meaning- as we see it.

                      Just as an example;

                      alshshahri alharami Sacred Months 597

                      Alshshahru alharamu forbidden months 2194

To any body sane in the head all months are the same, you can do a good deed any month of the year. Isn't that Gods religion?

sacredeness of months is a hindu belief and they where the maccans before the quran. It is plain as a nose on the face that they have manipulated the quran to bring back their religion after the prophets death.

Al Masjid Al Haraam is not a building but the actions forbidden, like killing, raping e.t.c

                      God Bless and peace

                        God Bless and peace

                        As-salaam Simple,

But, then how would that make sense in context?

Like, You can make a Pilgrimage to the Actions forbidden (rape, killing, etc)?
                        That doesnt really make sense.

So, then, During the 4 months, you are allowed to rape, murder, and do forbidden actions? haha...

I dont know that seems a little bad... You mean to tell me that after prophet Muhammad died, Islam basically just got screwed up?
I mean, really....That doesn't seem real. There are so many Muslims with Muhammad after he died that would fight and defend islam from pagen influence right? Umar, Ali, etc...

To say that after Muhammad left, everything Turned back to darkness...? then whats the point of living anymore? whats the point of Life? whats the point of religion? its like if every time Allah Creates Scripture, and sends a prophet....It just ends up back to the same old evil paganness over again...then whats the point anymore?

Whats the Point of being Muslim if it is Impossible? whats the point of being muslim if you cant even serve Allah, or Rather...Dont even Know HOW to serve Allah since All the Scripture is tainted or twisted in some sinister way.

So is the shyatan smarter? Is everyone doomed? Is Evil just the end result that will triumph in the end no matter what?

Astaghfirullah, I dont think so. I go by my logic...and my logic says Serve Allah the Creator of All. The Quran is perfect, is provable, and though there is some evil infiltration, that doesnt mean everything in Islam is.

I mean, In another Form...One Person said or Found that "Salaam" and "Shalom" are actually Pagan words for the pagan Dusk god...
So WOW, now I cant even Say Salaam? I cant pray on Friday? I cant Do Hajj? and now I just heard from another Brother that Salah Doesnt even mean Prayer...So basically, we dont even need to pray either...Then On another Topic..."Muhammad is not the last prophet"....
Then On another site "Homosexuality is okay in Islam"...and on another "Alcohol is okay"...and on another... "There is no sacred months nor is there even a Government or a 5 times a day prayer.."

By the time you look at everything you end up saying ..."fck it!...I cant do Islam...Just forget it...whats the Fkn point anymore!" brickwall giveup

I'd rather not. It seems like Everyday is a battle...Some new person finds a Root word that actually means something Completely different from what was once known...So at the end of the day...Did we Progress in Islam..or just Regress?

Are we Getting Closer to the truth...or as further away as the "Sunni/Shiate" Pagans... or as the "19er pagans" or as the "Khalifa Pagans" or as the "Free-mind Pagans" or the "Quranist Pagans" or the "______(insert name here)___Pagan pagans...
                        brickwall elektro

Sorry I just had to vent real quick... hypno

!Ill just serve Allah the way I believe is Correct, and get Questioned in the end. pr hail

That is why all religions are okay- so long as the people don't harm don't cheat one another.........

Everybody acts according to their belief/understanding they have learnt in their every day living, so they can't be blamed surely.

Did anything different happen after Jesus' death?

What is within (your mind and your heart) to what is without (a book and a dead man).

There are still things in the Qur'an that don't sit well with me.

Six hundred years after "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone", you have "The adulteress and the adulterer, you shall lash each of them one hundred lashes, and do not let any pity take you over God's system if you acknowledge God and the Last Day. Let a group of the acknowledgers witness their punishment."

Doesn't sound like it's from the same God to me and for some reason, the former rings closer to my heart.
