Salam guys just a question. What does "vain talk" mean in the Quran.

I recommend cross-referencing the word "vain talk" in The Quran, see what it says about it.
method
if you know the verse in which the word you wish to know about occurs, e.g. "vain talk". Go to corpus.quran.com and look up the root and concordance/occurrences and study them all, e.g.
http//corpus.quran.com/qurandictionary.jsp?root=lgw#(2334)if you dont know of a verse where the word occurs, type it into a search engine, e.g. google "quran vain talk", or use a Quran word search site. Then go to the above site with the verse.
All of this is so easy to do these days, the only limit is the limit we put on ourselves, and of course, if one wishes to put in the time/effort/will/etc.
