How good do you think, feel and write? Here is why I am asking this question

Let me keep it short

As you know, when Palgrave/McMillian cancelled the contract to publish the Quran a Reformist Translation, I felt down. But, it was one of the glaring fulfillment of "you might dislike something there might be good for you."

I did not want to waste years to restart the process with another company. So, I said "bismillah" and established BrainbowPress. Thank God, it has been a blessing. As an author, now I feel free. I do not need to worry about the demands of a big company's editor who would nicely ask me not to scare this or that sacred cow, or have to wait several years until my book is accepted and published. I can now publish any book in less than a month!

I decided to increase the titles and categories of topics... Currently the following books are prepared for publication

My autobiography...
Nineteen God's Signature in Nature and Scripture
Islamic Theory of Evolution by T.O. Sanavas
The Big Bang, Philosophy and God by Caner Taslaman (Caner's other books)
Two novels by teen authors as part of ByteensForteens seires (already two teams of teens are working on their books)

I respect that, because I know that Almost All industrys will want to take control of the authors work...whether it be Music, movies, or books.
sometimes its best to just DIY (Do-It-Yourself).

I have never thought about writting a book... I have wrote some Muslim Songs that I rap too though... ;D Mostly Political-muslim-hipop centered around conspiracy,urban culture, and Elitism.

Edip, I write quite well but I only write short stories now and then. I've only gotten a couple published.
I do have a lot of ideas, but I don't think I have the skill or patience or time to write a book.

I think that goes for a lot of us here. We can write essays, though (as you can see from the posts on this forum).

If you can, you should publish a weekly or monthly periodical where you print essays from amateur philosophers from places like this forum.
That way you can get a lot of different and diverse opinions, from people who have a lot to say but don't quite have the ability to write books.

Why the term reformist translation and not Quranic translation. It gives the idea that somehow its not the original Quran but a "reformed" one.

A Reformist is not the adjective of the Quran it is used to describe the TRANSLATORS.
