you've answered yourself. No further elaboration needed.
I don't think so, because we don't know yet what is the Gospel (Good News of what ?) and the Quran (33) speaks only about revealing the Taurah and the Gospel but not as BOOKS but as something that is not included in a book (like Quran).
I think that the reason why The Taurah and the Gospel are not Books like (the Quran) is 34, where the revelation of Taurah, Gospel is followed by the revelation of al-Furqan which is not THE ACTUAL QURAN but only a way (an aptitude) of selecting between the truth and the false (See 2148 where it's said .
Al Furqan is never used to describe the Quran.
Finally, I still don't know what is the contents of the Gospel (Good News). brickwall

It's not said that the Quran is or "=" al Furqan but rather it's said that the purpose of the Quran is to guide mankind, to clarify the guidance, and (assist every body) to differentiate between the truth and the false.

Here is the verse
The month of Ramadaan is that in which the Qur'an was revealed as a guidance for mankind and with clear proofs of guidance and the Criterion (of right and wrong).
1)If a thing is a guidance then what is his function ? => To guide
Otherwise, the meaning of what I write above is that the purpose of the Quran is to guide

Now it's clear that the Quran is not furqan but through the function of clarification it achieves furqan means differentiation between the truth and the false.

There is no purpose of furqan, achieving furqan or whatever. Al-quran is al-furqan.

There is no purpose of furqan, achieving furqan or whatever. Al-quran is al-furqan.

How then can you so confidently say that the Quran = al Furqan since it's not clearly said that the Quran is al Furqan ?
Second, If according to you, the Quran = al Furqan then we can write this part of the verse like this !!!!
