Both roots mean to seal, stamp, and on first sight seem to be used inthe same contexts.

Any one has any idea of a difference between them?

    Thank you

    Salaam

Good questions. Like no two things are exactly similar, two Roots can't be exactly similar, they can have overlapping features but are distinct from each other in some respects.

To me the difference is that of enveloping and coating.

And because of their saying "Our hearts are enveloped".

No, that is not the case, in fact Allah the Exalted has put a coating upon them (hearts-locus of understanding). This is for reason of their disavowal.

A coating of rust upon their hearts is mentioned in 8314.

Thank you for your answer. That seems entlightening, indeed.
