Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu
First at all, I'm new to this forum and i'm so glad i'v found this site as i'm very interested to discover the true Islam so please forgive me if i'm posting in a wrong thread or if i'm puting dumb questions...
My first question on this forum is, that for making the shahada is it needed to have 2 witnesses, or the witnesses thing it's based on hadiths..

I agree that God Alone is the best Witness for you.
However, I do agree with saying the Shahadah in front of family friends and the community.
I dont see it as haraam, or bad.Saying the Shahadah Alone in your room may be good enough and rewarding. (God is watching).
But also saying the Shahadah in front of your Family, Friends, and Community is Also just as rewarding (God is STILL watching).Personally, I would do both. Saying the shahadah IS a Good experience and represents the abrogation and destruction of Shirk and Oppression.
Do you all think it is Haraam to have a Celebration Party for the Shahadah?To be honest, I think it would be fun to have a small gathereing with Food and Cofee to celebrate a new converts shahadah. The Shahadah is one of the greatest Rites of Passage a Muslim can do is it not? a Joyious Time

I am also a new submitter (2\3) months now but I feel like I have been submitting to ALLAAH for years . I like to congratulate you and tell you to be steadfast in this new religion of GOD alone . You made a wise disituon to turn unto ALLAAH alone .well done I am glad with you!!!
At the end of ouer life when ALLAAH sends His messangers to come and tack ouer soul we will INSHALLAAH return to HIM alone and than we will go stryt to paradise becouse ALLAAH promis that the rightiosh never die , thay live in paradise and the disbelievers thay stay in there graves until the day of judgement . This is one of the great benefetes we receave becouse we have made the importand disituon to worshipe GOD alone .
To come back now to the question you post on the forum .I don't see any reson why and how many witnisses you need for the shahada . ALLAAH knows your hard as long as you NOT mention muhammad 's name you are prity mutch safe.The reason for this is that ALLAAH say that only the hippocrates mention Muhammad 's name in the shahade and we as submittes know that he (Muhammad) WAS one of the messengers . By the why you ask any Sunni , Shia or qardianis to say Muhammad WAS a mesenger than thay might kick your but and thay insist in saying that he IS . The shahada that thay make is blesfiming against ALLAAH and that last profet muhammad becouse we the submiters are the people with knowledge as it stats is (381) and we know he WAS a messenger . Do you see the difrens between us and the disbelievers . Why can't thay not say he is or was the last profet .every time that thay make there satanic shahada thay viulate GOD 's comands and in return ALLAAH blinds them so that thay not able to see the difrence between a profet and a messenger . Do you see now why we are called the people of knowledge , we believe ALLAAH but thay believe hadieths and thay think that thay are guided. Here in 318 is the right Shanda ***
The Most Important Commandment*** is givenGOD bears witness that there is no god except He, and so do the angels and those who possess knowledge. Truthfully and equitably, He is the absolute god; there is no god but He, the Almighty, Most Wise.

*318 The proclamation of faith (Shahaadah) that is decreed by God is "There is no god except God," in Arabic "La Elaaha Ella Allah" (see also 3735, 4719). I assume by "he" (lower case h) you refer to Abraham. This is definitely incorrect

Abraham did not choose any name for us, it was chosen by the author of Al Quran, i.e. God.
In 2278 the "huwa" refers to God throughout. However, even in this verse, the so-called naming should be understood for what it is. The Quran specifically mentions the term "muslim" for those before prophet Muhammad, including Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Jacob, and the companions of Jesus. . And in 144 we are told, messengers are sent in the language of their people.Thus, did the specific word "muslim" exist in all these places for so long and was used by these people? Yet, never documented? Highly unlikely. It is an Arabic word.
See where Noah uses the word "muslimeen" in 1072. Did Noah use the specific Arabic word "muslimeen" in speech? Again, highly unlikely. The Quran simply narrates the story in Arabic because it is in Arabic. Noah would have used the equivalent in his language. If so, this totally dismantles the alleged special nature of this word, or at least, its special nature as a title.
To me, 2278 just means the following... in Arabic, this is what you are called/named, simply because Al Quran is in Arabic, but it is NOT a title. For example, let us say there was a messenger in French language, they would not use "muslim", they would use the French equivalent. I do not see it as anything more than this. If we couple this with the fact that the word "muslim" is used as a common word in Al Quran, e.g. the verses which say come as muslim to Solomon, i.e. submissive to Solomon, it shows that its primary usage is as a description, a state of being, not a title. Also, the verses which discuss those of other monotheistic faiths being accepted by God, if true/pure/good/etc, there is no mention of being "muslim" there, except if understood as a state of being, then it makes perfect sense.
There is also the logical argument of if it is taken as the title "Muslim" it automatically becomes meaningless. For example, a person can be Muslim but not embody the meaning, thus will not be muslim. Its use is effectively zero.

I believe we are wither Promoted in Rank or Demoted out of Rank.
Sometimes we are "Muslim" and Sometimes we are "Hypocrates", depending on our Actions (which govern "Who" we are).I think this would then go along with the verse talking about those with wavering faith, or little faith, or even No faith at all but only mere Physical Lables.
Like those who pray,give charity, etc to be seen. They are outwardly labeled "Muslims" but only Allah knows who is a True Muslim and who is Not.I see the word "Muslim" as a Badge of Honor. Sometimes I am honored to Wear it...and other times I may make errors and it gets ripped off my shirt because it is CONDITIONAL.
So, in conclusion.... Being Labled a "Muslim" or a Follower of "Islam" is Conditional depending on your Actions...which only Allah knows who is "Trueley" deserving of such a honourous Title.
Sould we claim to be "Muslims"? I think Yes. but if we claim it...we should only do so with we ARE it.
