TV liscense

I just want your guys opinion on the issue.
My parents dont pay TV liscence(as far as I can tell many people dont) but would it be morally wrong for me to watch on my TV? My parents dont pay cause they say they pay so much taxes and the government works the price in there. We have to DSTV(sattelite Tv) premiums too. I dont think money is the issue just my dads not the biggest fan of our government. Your opinions? Could I give the same amount in charity ever year?I really like to watch soccer which is pretty much all I watch nowadays

for example if it's a tv series currently airing and you missed an episode, you could watch them online
but pirating satellite, i'd say it's bad
because satellite is really bad man
Salam. No its not pirating sattelite, we pay for sattelite its just an annual fee that they charge for anyone who has a tv.

Most corporations now allow for you to pay and download what you need right off their website, therefore reducing waste of energy, just as well as P2P. Websites like itunes have eliminated the need to purchase an entire CD for 1-2 songs you may like on it, therefore increasing affordability.
If you want to have cable or satellite tv, the company providing it sets the rules, and if the rule is to pay a certain amount a month, then thats what it is. It is the government's job to protect the consumer, and intervene if the rates set are too high, or the quality of service low.

Are you from the uk? Because the TV license is technically only for those who view BBC channels since the other channels are funded through advertising. They force every who has a tv to pay though and now anyone who has a computer too since you can watch bbc iplayer online.
However, if you watch BBC world from other countries around the world it's actually free.
