Who said I had a problem with breastfeeding? I said no such thing. Please read my posts properly when responding.

We were speaking about Al Azhar and their fatawa, and I was referring to a particularly insane fatwa that was issued some time ago. Reformer knew what I was talking about. So from the context it should have been clear that I am not opposed to breastfeeding in any form, but to a particular fatwa about breastfeeding, in which it was stated that a woman could breastfeed her male colleague.

According to Islamic tradition, or Hadith, breast-feeding establishes a degree of maternal relation, even if a woman nurses a child who is not biologically hers.

In his fatwa, Dr Atiya, the head of al-Azhar's Department of Hadith, said such teachings could equally apply to adults.

He said that if a woman fed a male colleague "directly from her breast" at least five times they would establish a family bond and thus be allowed to be alone together at work.

"Breast feeding an adult puts an end to the problem of the private meeting, and does not ban marriage," he ruled.

"A woman at work can take off the veil or reveal her hair in front of someone whom she breastfed."

of course they are more knowledgeable than you sister or are you an 3alima?

I have never heard of such thing... don't spread confusion please!

      Sahih Muslim
      Book 008, Number 3424
' A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Sahla bint Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be eupon him) and said Messengerof Allah, I see on the face of Abu Hudhaifa (signs of disgust) on entering of Salim (who is an ally) into (our house), whereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said Suckle him. She said How can I suckle him as he is a grown-up man? Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) smiled and said I already know that he is a young man 'Amr has made this addition in his narration that he participated in the Battle of Badr and in the narration of Ibn 'Umar (the words are) Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) laughed.

      Book 008, Number 3425
'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hadhaifa, lived with him and his family in their house. She (i. e. the daughter of Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said Salim has attained (purbety) as men attain, and he understands what they understand, and he enters our house freely, I, however, perceive that something (rankles) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa, whereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said to her Suckle him and you would become unlawful for him, and (the rankling) which Abu Hudhaifa feels in his heart will disappear. She returned and said So I suckled him, and what (was there) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa disappeared.

      Book 008, Number 3426
Ibn Abu Mulaika reported that al-Qasim b. Muhammad b. Abu Bakr had narrated to him that 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Sahla bint Suhail b. 'Amr came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said Messenger of Allah, Salim (the freed slave of Abu Hudhaifa) is living with us in our house, and he has attained (puberty) as men attain it and has acquired knowledge (of the sex problems) as men acquire, whereupon he said Suckle him so that he may become unlawful (in regard to marriage) for you He (Ibn Abu Mulaika) said I refrained from (narrating this hadith) for a year or so on account of fear. I then met al-Qasim and said to him You narrated to me a hadith which I did not narrate (to anyone) afterwards. He said What is that? I informed him, whereupon he said Narrate it on my authority that 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) had narrated that to me.

      maliks Muwatta
Book 30, Number 30.1.7 Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Salim ibn Abdullah ibn Umar informed him that A'isha umm al-muminin sent him away while he was being nursed to her sister Umm Kulthum bint Abi Bakr as-Siddiq and said, "Suckle him ten times so that he can come in to see me."

Salim said, "Umm Kulthum nursed me three times and then fell ill, so that she only nursed me three times. I could not go in to see A'isha because Umm Kulthum did not finish for me the ten times."

Book 30, Number 30.1.8 Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Safiyya bint Abi Ubayd told him that Hafsa, umm al-muminin, sent Asim ibn Abdullah ibn Sad to her sister Fatima bint Umar ibn al-Khattab for her to suckle him ten times so that he could come in to see her. She did it, so he used to come in to see her.

what's the point of talking to you and you'll not even consider what I said and think about ?

Am I getting this right? You want me to seriously consider the theory that there is a necessity to mutilate women in warm countries, or in countries where there are more girls than boys? Why in the world would I want to think about such nonsense that clearly goes against common sense, science, and Islam?

No hadith are 'reportedly' sayings of the prophet written by men and collected by men that were not even born within 200 years of the prophet, the prophet that said DO NOT take anything from me but Quran, the prophet that followed Allah and would NEVER have added anything to Islam, the prophet that followed the sunnah of Allah and lived by the hadith of Allah!

I don't know what fatwa are you talking about ? anyways she (the woman who asked the prophet) came to ask him about a child (8 to 12 years old) she typically didn't breasfeed him, she just gave him her breast and he put his mouth on it like a baby when he suckled from his mother, for one reason to make the woman haram for him because she at this time turned into his wet-Nurse(Mom in reda3a) and why haram for him because as I said someone in his 8s considered him as a man at this age, and he might get sexual desires about this woman in her home which was the home where he liked to play in it or enter it, so by touching her breast using his mouth , she became legaly Haram for him. the only person who can get breastfeed is the baby because God gave him a gift in suckling, and this gift will disappear by time when the baby grow up, so even a man wants a breastfeed, he will just hurt his woman and even he will not like what he will get (a breast cancer rotfl).

Wrong. There are adults who are into suckling as a sexual thing.

Warning! The link contains material that might be offensive to some.

Erotic Lactation between partners or an Adult Nursing Relationship (ANR) may develop from natural breastfeeding of a baby. During the lactation period the partner starts to suckle on the female breast, and continues after the baby is weaned off. Milk production is continually stimulated and the milk flow continues. According to the book "Body parts critical explorations in corporeality", adult nursing may occur when an "individual, usually a mother, may choose to continue lactating after weaning a child, so that she avoids the significant physical challenge that inducing lactation can entail."

However, milk production can be "artificially" and intentionally induced in the absence of any pregnancy in the woman. This is called induced lactation, while a woman who has lactated before and re-starts is said to relactate. This can be done by regularly sucking on the nipples (several times a day), massaging and squeezing the female breasts or with additional help from temporary use of milk-inducing drugs, such as the Dopamine antagonist Domperidone. In principle?with considerable patience and perseverance?it is possible to induce lactation by sucking on the nipples alone.

It is not necessary that the woman has ever been pregnant, and she can be well in her post-menopausal period. Once established, lactation adjusts to demand. As long as there is regular breast stimulation, lactation is possible.
