FREE course on learning Quranic Arabic
-
Just wanted to share with everybody a great site I came across that teaches a FREE and detailed course on the Arabic of the Quran. Actually, there are 3 separate courses beginning, intermediate and advanced. They say it's enough to learn to understand and speak Arabic even if you don't know any.. But you should learn the Arabic alphabet and how to read it out loud first (that's the easy part).

It's a massive series of lectures, literally hundreds of hours (given to an actual class), that works from a set of books. All the books can be downloaded in PDF files from their download page. All the lectures can be seen in the Video page, or you can download them from the downloads.
They even have a message board where you can ask questions or get help.
Also, they sell all of the books and lectures at COST (really cheap prices.. 12 dollars for a 9 DVD set, another few dollars for the books).
Just thought I'd share... It seems like a really good course to learning Arabic, specifically the dialect used in the Quran, and they make it free in the cause of Allah.

May the god reward you.
Is it better than Bayyina course? Free makes it better.
I don't know about Bayyina, thanks for pointing it out. As for the Language Institute of the Quran, it's an intensive course can be hard to follow if your a beginner. You have to be looking at the book in a PDF file while watching the video. You will have to study the vocabulary on your own time, but the course teaches the rules of grammar. I watching the course/using the book in conjunction with Rosetta Stone right now, it seems good....
