Quranists became Quranists because of their lack of understanding Quran.

Are you telling me that Moses beat a stone that ran away with his clothes and the rock survived thousands of years and made its way to the Sahabah so that Abu Hurairah could say "By Allah! There are still six or seven marks present on the stone from that excessive beating."?
And you are saying my knowledge of Quran is deficient because I don't believe that the Bani Israel saying Moses has scrotal hernia is the harm mentioned in
3369 O you who believe, do not be like those who harmed Moses, but then God cleared him of all they said, and he was honorable before God.
The verse is not about Moses, it is about the prophet and God was telling the believers to not be like Bani Isreal who harmed Moses .
About the hadith of Abu Horaira , the reason of telling them this hadith is that firstly he wanted to tell them that people should take the shower covering his organs and to differ from the habit of the ennemies of Islam who they take shower naked (Bani Isreal) .
the second reason is to show them how Bani Isreal were hypocrites and harming their prophet and stabed him in the back, having a gossip about their prophet and it was a bad gossip .so attaching the verse to this hadith is so irrelevent and shows that you don't understand the verse neither the hadith .

Salam Thereformer1
There are many reasons why people choose to uphold the Quran without adulterated text.
Now if 'quranists' have a lack of understanding of alquran, do you then claim the sunni's or other traditionalists have a true pure understanding of alquran all because of hadith?
Why is it that people like you claim your sect have the greatest understanding? i mean if you were so great i'd assume a muslim state with pure true islamic laws would be implemented. there are so many of you and if you have grasped the quran so wonderfully i wonder what is the hold up?
Not all hadith interpret quran, alot is subjective to scholarly opinion and lack of hadith.
not all hadith is in relation to quranic verses, for what purpose are those hadiths? also early muslims lived without ahadith do you claim theyre not good enough?
I could use your argument against your sect and it would be more relevant, let me demonstrate; because of the close of ijtihad majority of Muslims have resulted to taqleed and have blindly followed medieval scholars. apparently today we're all too human to be appropriate scholars.. back then there were some other kind of humans, must have been the water or something? so anyway because of our lack of understanding and lack of willingness to learn and take on ijtihad to obtain truth because under some invisible doctrine it's haram, Muslims do taqleed to understand quran. without taqleed the muslims would have to rely on studying and learning about truth. of course you have a minority who believe that taqleed is wrong, yet they still implement taqleed by blindly following scholarly work without re-evaluate it or verifying work.
So what's the truth? majority of Muslims result in blind following others, by blind following others and by blind following others who apparently claim to have studied and verified the truth. When is a Muslim going to step up and prove this so called truth of the medieval scholars? BTW accepting someone's work on the grounds of "they're more knowledgeable" doesn't prove anything that's not a valid claim.
peace.

o OMG, i just showered naked o
As was to be expected, my favourite fatwa site has advice on this issue. pr
Praise be to Allaah.
Yes, it is permissible for a person to take a bath naked, because this was reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) as was reported by Maymoonah (may Allaah be pleased with her(, w ho said that she and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) took a bath together, washing from a large bowl in which there were traces of dough. And it was reported in several places as narrated by al-Bukhaari and Muslim, and he bathed with ?Aa?ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her).
There is no saheeh hadeeth from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to indicate that it is obligatory to cover oneself when bathing. It was reported that some of the Salaf used to cover themselves, but this is not obligatory according to Islam. It is sufficient to be far from where people can see you.
Some scholars use as evidence the hadeeth in al-Saheehayn which speaks of Moosa (peace be upon him) bathing naked (al-Bukhaari, 274; Muslim, 339). Al-Nawawi entitled the chapter in Saheeh Muslim in which this hadeeth occurs ?the permissiblity of bathing naked when one is alone.?
It was also reported that Ayyoob (peace be upon him) bathed naked. (Saheeh al-Bukhaari, 275).
Imaam al-Nawawi said
We have already seen in the previous chapter that it is permissible to uncover the ?awrah when necessary, when one is alone, such as when taking a bath, urinating, engaging in intimate relations with one's wife, and so on. In all of these cases it is permissible to uncover one?s ?awrah when one is alone, but in front of other people it is forbidden to uncover the ?awrah in all cases.
The scholars said
Covering oneself with a wrapper or something similar when taking a bath alone is preferable than uncovering oneself. Uncovering oneself is permissible for the period of time that is essential to take a bath, etc., but uncovering oneself for longer than that is haraam according to the most correct opinion? and Allaah knows best.
Ruling on being naked when taking a bath.
Al-Bukhaari narrated in al-Saheeh that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said ?The Messenger of Allaah SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said that Moosa (peace be upon him) was a very shy and modest man, and none of his skin was ever seen because he was so modest. So some of the Children of Israel annoyed him by saying, ?He is only being so modest because he has some fault in his skin, such as leprosy, scrotal hernia, etc.? Allaah wanted to demonstrate that he was free of what they were saying about him. One day Moosa went away by himself, put his garment on a rock and washed himself. When he had finished, he went to pick up his garment, and the rock ran away with it. Moosa picked up his stick and ran after the rock, saying, ?My garment, O rock! My garment, O rock!? Then he reached a group of the Children of Israel, who saw him naked and that he was the best that Allaah had created and the most free of the faults that they had spoken of. Then the rock stopped, so Moosa took his garment and struck the rock with his stick. By Allaah, there were marks left on the rock by his stick, three or four or five. This is what Allaah said (interpretation of the meaning) ?O you who believe! Be not like those who annoyed Moosa (Moses), but Allaah cleared him of that which they alleged, and he was honourable before Allaah? .?
(Saheeh al-Bukhaari, 3404)
The scholars quoted this hadeeth as evidence that it is permissible to be naked when one is alone, especially if that is for a reason such as taking a bath. Most of the scholars regarded this as being permissible, as al-Haafiz said in al-Fath (1/385). Al-Bukhaari gave this chapter the title ?Chapter on one who bathes naked when he is alone, although whoever covers himself, covering is preferable.? The fact that covering oneself is preferable is taken from the hadeeth which was narrated by the authors of Sunan and classed as hasan by al-Tirmidhi and as saheeh by al-Haakim, from Mu?aawiyah ibn Haydah, who said ?I said, ?O Prophet of Allaah, when should we cover our ?awrah and when may we uncover it?? He said, ?Protect (cover) your ?awrah from everyone except your wife and those whom your right hand possesses (concubines).? I said, ?O Messenger of Allaah, what about when one of us is alone?? He said, ?Allaah is more deserving than the people that you should be modest before Him.??

Which do you believe...
6158 Do they wait until the angels come to them, or your Lord comes, or certain signs come from your Lord? The day certain signs come from your Lord, it will do no good for any soul to believe if it did not believe before, or it gained good through its belief. Say "Wait, for we are waiting."

From Sahih Muslim
Book 001, Number 0050
It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira We were sitting around the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him). Abu Bakr and Umar were also there among the audience. In the meanwhile the Messenger of Allah got up and left us, He delayed in coming back to us, which caused anxiety that he might be attacked by some enemy when we were not with him; so being alarmed we got up. I was the first to be alarmed. I, therefore, went out to look for the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) and came to a garden belonging to the Banu an-Najjar, a section of the Ansar went round it looking for a gate but failed to find one. Seeing a rabi' (i. e. streamlet) flowing into the garden from a well outside, drew myself together, like a fox, and slinked into (the place) where God's Messenger was. He (the Holy Prophet) said Is it Abu Huraira? I (Abu Huraira) replied Yes, Messenger of Allah. He (the Holy Prophet) said What is the matter with you? replied You were amongst us but got up and went away and delayed for a time, so fearing that you might be attacked by some enemy when we were not with you, we became alarmed. I was the first to be alarmed. So when I came to this garden, I drew myself together as a fox does, and these people are following me. He addressed me as Abu Huraira and gave me his sandals and said Take away these sandals of mine, and when you meet anyone outside this garden who testifies that there is no god but Allah, being assured of it in his heart, gladden him by announcing that he shall go to Paradise. Now the first one I met was Umar. He asked What are these sandals, Abu Huraira? I replied These are the sandals of the Messenger of Allah with which he has sent me to gladden anyone I meet who testifies that there is no god but Allah, being assured of it in his heart, with the announcement that he would go to Paradise. Thereupon 'Umar struck me on the breast and I fell on my back. He then said Go back, Abu Huraira, So I returned to the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him), and was about to break into tears. 'Umar followed me closely and there he was behind me. The Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be on him) said What is the matter with you, Abu Huraira? I said I happened to meet 'Umar and conveyed to him the message with which you sent me. He struck me on my breast which made me fall down upon my back and ordered me to go back. Upon this the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said What prompted you to do this, 'Umar? He said Messenger of Allah, my mother and father be sacrificed to thee, did you send Abu Huraira with your sandals to gladden anyone he met and who testified that there is no god but Allah, and being assured of it in his heart, with the tidings that he would go to Paradise? He said Yes. Umar said Please do it not, for I am afraid that people will trust in it alone; let them go on doing (good) deeds. The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said Well, let them.I didn't see any relation between the Hadith and the verses that you have pointed out, neither the bolded sentence are talking about the same situation .
let me write the hadiith an Arabic, as I see the translation in english is too cluttered and mistranslated
The prophet gave his sandals to Abu Horaira for one reason that people who was going to meet willl believe him, because he was holding the sandals of the prophet and everyone knows those sandals.
What prophet peace be upon him said to ABu Horaira is to greet everyone his heart is full "the is no god but God" believing in it from his heart and fear the present of this words in heart is in Janna (it is just a greeting) .And I justified this hadith by verses in Quran 2223 / 9112 / 1087 where God ordered the prophet to greet the believers .
2223 {and give good tidings to the believers (O Muhammad م}.The reason that Omar Bno Al KHatab stroke Abu Horaira in his heart because he wanted from him to stop doing that because if he told evryone this thing, they will do nothing from prayers and Zakat and no practicing Islam because they will think that are going to heaven, so why they would practicing Islam and prayers and ..etc . So he went to the prophet and he gave him his opinion and the prophet to show that he agreed with what Omar Bno Khatab said because after all the prophet is also hear and listen to the opinions of anyone from Sahaba and from clevers and you can look for Khalid Bno lwalid when he suggest a plan in a war between the non-believers and muslims, and there are a lot of examples where prophet agreed with what the Sahaba said . And I justify this also from a verse >>>>>>>

Who is "we"? You just said in another thread that you know nothing about Christians and don't want to know anything about them. Neither have you lived among them. So how do you know whether they are dirty and clean and what their shower habits are?
And don't even get me started on the hygienic conditions in the Muslim countries I've been to / lived in. nope
