aha and when I said the difference is a virtue before, you said that it is not ok , this is a contraduction of terms, are you ill mentally ? or maybe you are schyzo.

People who are going to discuss must first know the subject that they will discuss . Do you(all of you) know the subject that you're going to discuss ? if yes How? and what for ? if No, why ? and what for ?

You see reformer, for Quranists (at least those I know) it's ok to be different because the Quran is a lifelong learning process (rabbi zidnee ilman - 20/114). For you guys, you got the 'firqa najiyya' (saved sect) complex. to you, you MUST prove yourselves to be right. Hence, having ikhtilaf is not an option because if you have al-haqq, it cannot be two al-haqqs!

I don't pretend to know everything about the Quran. I learn from my reading daily. What i DO know however is you and your ulema do NOT represent the Quran. Sorry.

Indeed, as Moses wanted Aaron to be his partner.

2029-32 Make for me an assistant from my family; my brother Aaron. Strengthen me with him, and give him a share of my mission.

We are responsible for using our individual faculties of intellect to discern truth from falsehood, and we will return to the god all alone. May he have mercy on us all.

wow, nice one David. I hadn't thought of that before.

Reformer, THATS how discussion partnerships function.

Moses wanted Aaron to be his partner because Moses wasn't eloquent and he wanted someone to share with him the message for one reason strengthen him and not be alone in this holy message .

I think I have before explained to you things that they kept you in confusion and now I don't think so you'll understand why someone is right despite the explanation of others . That's what you're not going to understand .

                    Peace Jafar,

Unfortunately, the misunderstanding of "a3rab" as being "Arabs" is pretty racist. What is the reason for "the Arab race" being the worst in disbelief? When little boys and girls are born in any race, are they programmed to be more likely to disbelieve? That's nonsense, and it's offensive to hundreds of millions of people. Ironically, they speak the language that's being misunderstood, and there is clearly a difference between the nomads of the great reading and the "Arabs" of modern standard Arabic

                    Nomads =

                    M.S.A. Arabs =

Clearly there are two alifs in the word "nomads". Using yaqb.org I wanted to see who had the racist audacity to misrepresent the word "a3rab"

Free_Minds The Nomads are the worst in rejection and hypocrisy, and more likely not to know the limits of what God has sent down upon His messenger. God is Knower, Wise.

Khalifa The Arabs are the worst in disbelief and hypocrisy, and the most likely to ignore the laws that GOD has revealed to His messenger. GOD is Omniscient, Most Wise.

Yusuf_Ali The Arabs of the desert are the worst in Unbelief and hypocrisy, and most fitted to be in ignorance of the command which Allah hath sent down to His Messenger But Allah is All-knowing, All-Wise.

Shakir The dwellers of the desert are very hard in unbelief and hypocrisy, and more disposed not to know the limits of what Allah has revealed to His Messenger; and Allah is Knowing, Wise.

Pickthal The wandering Arabs are more hard in disbelief and hypocrisy, and more likely to be ignorant of the limits which Allah hath revealed unto His messenger. And Allah is Knower, Wise.

Arberry The Bedouins are more stubborn in unbelief and hypocrisy, and apter not to know the bounds of what God has sent down on His Messenger; and God is All-knowing, All-wise.

George_Sale The Arabs of the desert are more obstinate in their unbelief and hypocrisy; and it is easier for them to be ignorant of the ordinances of that which God hath sent down unto his Apostle And God is knowing and wise.

Hilali_Khan The bedouins are the worst in disbelief and hypocrisy, and more likely to be in ignorance of the limits (Allahs Commandments and His Legal Laws, etc.) which Allah has revealed to His Messenger. And Allah is All-Knower, All-Wise.

Malik The Arabs of the desert are the worst in disbelief and hypocrisy, and are least inclined to acknowledge the limits that Allah has revealed to his Messenger. Allah is All- Knowledgeable, All-Wise.

Maulana_Ali The dwellers of the desert are hardest in disbelief and hypocrisy, and most disposed not to know the limits of what Allah has revealed to His Messenger. And Allah is Knowing, Wise.

QXP The desert Arabs are more hard in rejection and hypocrisy, and more likely to ignore the Limits that Allah has revealed to His Messenger. Allah is Knower, Wise.

Sarwar The desert dwelling Arabs are far worse than the others in their disbelief and hypocrisy and have more reason to be ignorant of the revelations that God revealed to His Messenger. God is All-knowing and All-wise.

Those who wrote "desert/wandering Arabs" messed it up a little bit (since not all nomads/desert people/wanderers are "Arabs&quot, but not to a great racist extent. Who does that leave?

                    1. Khalifa was a world-class racist; he fit in well in America in the 70s and 80s with his bigotry against Arabs. "Blame it on the Arabs" was big back then (http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9600312.0).
                    2. Yusuf Ali was Indian, busy with nationalist struggles in India/Pakistan, so what did he care about "the Arabs" he condemned?
                    3. Chouraqui was an Israeli Jew; big surprise.

Even if you misunderstood the word to mean "Arab race", why would it be your signature on a forum? To me, this indicates a deep-seated racism. Maybe you should make it the bumper sticker on your car, or get a vanity license plate "ARABS R BAD"...

                      Quran says follow the hadith
                      hadith is the wisdom

These are all things I have heard said about hadith by hadithists. No this didnt come from Quran but there are clear warnings IN Quran about this and not to listen to them.
Yes the prophet was the best example OF HIS TIME, in living Quran and all those examples are IN Quran, so no need for hadith.

Moderators, my reply box stopped jumping yesterday, it was bliss and I was today going to thank whoever did something and send virtual flowers and chocs. But now its again jumping all over the place brickwall

We are told in the quran to tell the christians to produce their proof if they are truthful, why aren't we doing that with the quran?

The prophet's time has not ended, until Jesus is to come that is.

As for history... the quran teaches us to learn about the prophet. Waka provided me a list of verses... where's it gone... ah here it is

                        Salaam David,

Thanks for clearing up this nonsense for these people...anyone who has bothered to study the matter will discover that a'rab means, and has always meant, nomads.

And as you've discerningly pointed out, the latest fad these days is talk about an "Arab conspiracy against Islam" and such nonsense...

Even if you misunderstood the word to mean "Arab race", why would it be your signature on a forum? To me, this indicates a deep-seated racism. Maybe you should make it the bumper sticker on your car, or get a vanity license plate "ARABS R BAD"...

lol I can hardly comment ... from all the verses in the Reading to choose from.....that one was the one that resonated most with him??
This kind of deep-seeded inferiority complex seems to be rampant with non-Arab muslims today.

And for anyone who still doesn't believe that a'rab means nomads, feel free to consult The Arabic Language where this matter is also covered.

Honestly I get tired of every couch-expert there is trying to justify moronic emotional qualms by using the Quran...

                        Salaam

ps. Everytime I read a thread and want to say something I find that you've said the same exact thing already!

To me Aidad Safar seems to think that all Arabs are Muslims which makes it hard to take him seriously. In one of his article I read (only the first sentences) he was acting as if all Arabs are Muslims ignoring that not all Arabs are Muslims. Always when he writes Arabs, he writes 'The Arabs', it's really hilarious. At least he could write The Arab Muslims but it would still be equally as stupid. If anything, Arabs represent very little (less than 15%) of the todays Muslim population. Here is an example of his stupidity

God has declared the Arabs to be the staunchest disbelievers and the staunchest hypocrites. This will be demonstrated beyond all doubt by this book. The Qur?an confirms

The Arabs are staunchest in disbelief and hypocrisy, and most likely not to know the limits of what was revealed by God to His messenger, and God is Knower and Judge. (997)

Thus, the probability of Arabs being the caretakers of God?s deen is close to zero. The current status quo, however, has the Arabs as the heroes and champions of ?religion? with non-Arabs putting their blind trust in the Arabs.

Sure you can argue whether he is refering to the Arab Muslim conquerers that existed hundreds of years ago when he writes 'The Arabs'. However in the last sentence he confirms that he is generalizing all Arabs because he writes this
Thus, the probability of Arabs being the caretakers of God?s deen is close to zero. The current status quo, however, has the Arabs as the heroes and champions of ?religion? with non-Arabs putting their blind trust in the Arabs.

Anyway this made me laugh because his arguments are a complete joke. He also acts as if the entire Arab world is about Islam only, ignoring the secular mass movements that took place who never cared about Islam letalone religion. The founding fathers of the Arab countries were almost all secular (some were probaly not even Muslims) who relied on Arab nationalism instead of Islam. The point is that the Arab world isn't only about Islam, infact some Arab countries have been ruled by Arab Christians as well. Syria and Lebanon are two examples.

If you want to talk about who corrupted Islam then last time I checked those who corrupted Islam with Hadiths for example were of Persian origin. And let's not forget Timur (a 'Muslim' warlord of Uzbekistani origin) who reduced several populations (he caused deaths of 17 million people and sometimes ordered to bring their skulls as 'trophies&#039. https//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timur I don't recall anyone writing a Uzbekistani conspiracy against Islam.

It doesn't make sense when Aidad writes 'The Arabs', he has to be specific, is he refering to Arab Muslims, Arab Jews, Arab Christians, Arab atheists? Pick one. And even if he picked one his argument would still be stupid especially since it is full of generalizations. Maybe Aidad Sadar is one of those hilarious idiots who hate Arabs but lives in Dubai?

I know that many on this Forum will agree with Sadar because these are the same losers who blame Arabs for their own failures. No seriously, someone even implied that Arabs were too inferior for democracy and secularism on this same Forum. As a person who's very interested in Arab history I know that not any of this is true, and I'm gonna say research before you spread misinformation.
