    Peace,

THe ego is like a second skin that constantly pursues the human being.
To avoid falling into this trap, it is essential to understand its nature and how it works.

Everything that comes after the "I" makes up the ego, a cluster of thoughts.

The ego embellishes actions, persuades their validity, makes people proud, wants to be right, blinds, refutes without knowledge or science, judge, mocks, prevents seeing the truth, creates conflicts, wars, inner disorder, struggles, resists , controls people's lives.
The ego gives the satisfaction of being right, of blaming others, have more goods etc

When people are identified with their ego, they are unconscious of his true nature, unconscious of their Creator.

No freedom possible when the human being is under the yoke of the ego.
No freedom of action even if the ego persuades otherwise.

This is the first obstacle to overcome in order to be able to embody the change we want to see in society.

The ego loses its power over the human being when it is subjected to the light of consciousness.
    Consciousness purifies the inner state.

1311 Present with him and behind him are retainers, they preserve him
from the command of God. God does not change the condition
of a people until they change the condition of their souls. And if God wanted to harm a people, then there is no turning Him back, nor will they have any protector against Him.

    Peace

      Peace...

Is this ego is our own? Or jinn(fantasy) like FM member brother Ayman claims... Another but coined to us...

I wouldn't use fantasy or jinn, but rather identification with thought. Understanding this process is accessible to everyone. Ins and Jinn are two separate creatures, both thought, please you can read the verses I cited in Ayman's thread.
Thinking is a common point between Ins and Jinn.

The ego is a cluster of thoughts, a fiction, an illusion.
