Only Case endings will give you the sense and message that is contained in a sentence. And remember this is not a phrase, it is a single word. A word to be called and considered a phrase needs a preposition or another noun.

Please, share consonant root of this word.

    Peace,

    Badar

There is no need of finding and tracing Roots of personal names of personalities. Name of a Person introduces him/Him to others, it is for cognition.

No doubt your partner in crime and the great wizard 'abdur nur aka servant of confusion' broke the spell for you!

The only thing that comes to mind is 'out of the frying pan and into the fire'.

        Peace

This is a name, God named himself by this name and it is without plural, without feminine, without root, without ...etc .

The first time that prophet said this name, Quraish has wondered this name because of it is unique, They couldn't plurilize or femininize it, so they asked the prophet how it can be one .

And if you look about the story of Abraham, he in the first time was looking for "" not "" .

Yes you're right, it was before because after all the father of the prophet is from the strain of Ibrahim who did find the word "" when God finally guided him from finding any other "" .

The word in its meaning for Quraysh was not the same as you think or why they would be surprised when the prophet had pronounced this word and asking him how ?

Lane is also carried away by the traditional gossip. Calling them two great nations is so ridiculous; after reading Qur'aan, which shows them some creatures spoiling their crops/lands while making their way from the land gap between two mountains, which he blocked, with a structure made of metals; that it needs no rebuttal and will be just waste of time.
