The prophet peace be upon him was receiving two things "The book and the HIKMA" . So he did follow both of them as they were giving from God to teach both of them . The prophet did not mixing up anything with his own inventions as you claimed, there is the book and there is how to use it like a medicament you take the cure and you take how to use it . God gave the prophet Quran and he taught him how to do things from it and how to extract other types of ligeslations from it and how to use some instructions, these things have been registred in the so-called today the book of Sihah . So If you think that Quran is the only thing that the prophet follow you must go read and learn again .
So God gave the Quran and told Muhammed to folllow the sunnah by hadith?

I've answered above that there are two things giving to the prophet . And he was Muslim following what came in Quran and what God taught him through the Angel Gabriel peace be upon him, this teaching has been registred in books for next generations. So the muslims today whom you called them sunni are the real Muslims.
So God gave the Quran and the wisdom not to wash with dung?

The book in this verse 38 from 6 is not Quran

The book here in this verse is the " " . Your problem is taking the words that God mentioned the book as they are all talking about Quran, sorry to say that wron wrong wrong . The book is " " and it is not Quran .
So God gave Quran, said follow the hadith and sunnah and hid everything in the archived board. Why did He bother giving Quran at all?

    3531 { Then We gave the Book the Qur'?n) for inheritance to such of Our slaves whom We chose (the followers of Muhammad SAW). Then of them are some who wrong their ownselves, and of them are some who follow a middle course, and of them are some who are, by All?h's Leave, foremost in good deeds. That (inheritance of the Qur'?n), that is indeed a great grace. 32{ 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens) will they enter, therein will they be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments there will be of silk (i.e. in Paradise).}

This is talking about that inheristance of Quran for the believers who they did follow the prophet peace be upon him and who they did God chose from them a prophet . where is your problem ? Quran we inhert it from God, how to use and perform what came in it and understand it and interpret it we inhert it from the prophet . is there any problem there ?
So the peope that follow hadith and sunnah and not the Quran are the ones God gave Quran as inheritance? Was it like a heirloom to put on the shelf?

See above, I think I've explained more than I explained to an atheist . The only sect that splitted up is you (quranists), The prophet was giving two things . Don't you think so ?
hhhm NO. The prophet was given Quran a book full of wisdom. He was given Wisdom (brain, thought, reason) to understand Quran and teach to the people who were too stupid they were using dung to wash with! You explained it magnificantly Oh great shake! bravo

Yes, it is indeed the best Hadith, did we say the opposite ?
well suppose not really although what you did say is Quran is the best hadith so we follow other hadith that is not the best. I can see why the dung thing had to be clarified now though.

and one more thing this verse is for non-believers .
would that be non-believers in Quran and Allah or non-believers in hadith and sunnah? ???

Because the prophet has taken two things (The book and The wisdom) and God order him to teach both of them . The teachings things are in Hadith .
yes I can see why you dont need to bother with Quran then when you have it all in hadith, dung and all.

I think you'll here answer yourself about who is the sectarian .

yes we got that loud and clear bravo

Thank you Oh great shake for your wisdom hail

Leyna , can you (if you want ) make a thread about this post of yours (this one above) and I will answer every thing from Quran if God willing .

None of those statements can be justified by using Qur'an. God doesn't prefer one gender over the other, he made no gender or race superior to the other.

I wasn't intending to start a discussion on those awful statements; I was just giving an example of the nonsense some "Islamic authorities" are selling us us God's supposed rules.

I have picked those fatawa apart before, addressing the presented statements and the line of argument with qur'anic and scientific evidence. I don't think it is really necessary to go into all of this again, most of that stuff pretty much exposes itself.

I also gave you an example of silly and un-scientific reasoning (women only desire sex when they can get pregnant) above. My intention was not to start a long discussion about every single argument in those fatawa, I was just trying to make a point about scholars. Wasn't that obvious?

That is what you are saying though and its what you have said again here. You are saying God gave Quran, which He Himself says is fully detailed and complete, and He gave a separate set of instructions (to go with the fully detailed complete Book) and that separate set of instructions (including not to wash with dung) is in hadith. Why didnt He put it IN Quran or better still why did He bother giving Quran if you have the instructions all in hadith?

Hadith contains Sunnah of the prophet which is sunnah of Allah . The God and the prophet , there is "and" in every verse.
Sunnah of the prophet (according to the instuction manual of hadith) is NOT Sunnah of Allah!! So God AND the prophet, obviously means 'this is my son' ' he is God in flesh worship him' because YOU have just put a MAN up on level with GOD. SHIRK

Is this your way of comparision between wisdom and quran?, by the way bring a hadith sahih about a matter
no its your comparison. You said God gave Quran and hadith, the instructions to the fully detailed complete easy to understand book.

              Volume 1, Book 4, Number 157
              Narrated Abu Huraira

I followed the Prophet while he was going out to answer the call of nature. He used not to look this way or that. So, when I approached near him he said to me, "Fetch for me some stones for ' cleaning the privates parts (or said something similar), and do not bring a bone or a piece of dung." So I brought the stones in the corner of my garment and placed them by his side and I then went away from him. When he finished (from answering the call of nature) he used, them .

The Prophet went out to answer the call of nature and asked me to bring three stones. I found two stones and searched for the third but could not find it. So took a dried piece of dung and brought it to him. He took the two stones and threw away the dung and said, "This is a filthy thing." (immense Wisdom there!)

              Volume 3, Book 40, Number 559
              Narrated Abu Huraira

Allah's Apostle said, "Keeping horses may be a source of reward to some (man), a shelter to another (i.e. means of earning one's living), or a burden to a third. He to whom the horse will be a source of reward is the one who keeps it in Allah's Cause (prepare it for holy battles) and ties it by a long rope in a pasture (or a garden). He will get a reward equal to what its long rope allows it to eat in the pasture or the garden, and if that horse breaks its rope and crosses one or two hills, then all its foot-steps and its dung will be counted as good deeds for its owner; and if it passes by a river and drinks from it, then that will also be regarded as a good deed for its owner even if he has had no intention of watering it then. Horses are a shelter from poverty to the second person who keeps horses for earning his living so as not to ask others, and at the same time he gives Allah's right (i.e. Rakat) (from the wealth he earns through using them in trading etc.,) and does not overburden them. He who keeps horses just out of pride and for showing off and as a means of harming the Muslims, his horses will be a source of sins to him." Allah's Apostle said, " Horses are kept for one of three purposes; for some people they are a source of reward, for some others they are a means of shelter and for some others they are a source of sins. The one for whom they are a source of reward, is he who keeps a horse for Allah's Cause (i.e. Jihad) tying it with a long tether on a meadow or in a garden with the result that whatever it eats from the area of the meadow or the garden where it is tied will be counted as good deeds for his benefit, and if it should break its rope and jump over one or two hillocks then all its dung and its foot marks will be written as good deeds for him; and if it passes by a river and drinks water from it even though he had no intention of watering it, even then he will get the reward for its drinking. As for the man for whom horses are a source of sins, he is the one who keeps a horse for the sake of pride and pretense and showing enmity for Muslims such a horse will be a source of sins for him. When Allah's Apostle was asked about donkeys, he replied, "Nothing has been revealed to me about them except this unique, comprehensive Verse "Then anyone who does an atom's (or a small ant's) weight of good shall see it; And anyone who does an atom's (or a small ant's) weight of evil, shall see it.' That once he was in the, company of the Prophet carrying a water pot for his ablution and for cleaning his private parts. While he was following him carrying it(i.e. the pot), the Prophet said, "Who is this?" He said, "I am Abu Huraira." The Prophet said, "Bring me stones in order to clean my private parts, and do not bring any bones or animal dung." Abu Huraira went on narrating So I brought some stones, carrying them in the corner of my robe till I put them by his side and went away. When he finished, I walked with him and asked, "What about the bone and the animal dung?" He said, "They are of the food of Jinns. The delegate of Jinns of (the city of) Nasibin came to me--and how nice those Jinns were--and asked me for the remains of the human food. I invoked Allah for them that they would never pass by a bone or animal dung but find food on them."

              Volume 7, Book 63, Number 251
              Narrated Humaid bin Nafi'

Zainab bint Abu Salama told me these three narrations Zainab said I went to Um Habiba, the wife of the Prophet when her father, Abu- Sufyan bin Herb had died. Um ,Habiba asked for a perfume which contained yellow scent (Khaluq) or some other scent, and she first perfumed one of the girls with it and then rubbed her cheeks with it and said, "By Allah, I am not in need of perfume, but I have heard Allah's Apostle saying, 'It is not lawful for a lady who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for a dead person for more than three days unless he is her husband for whom she should mourn for four months and ten days.' " Zainab further said I want to Zainab bint Jahsh when her brother died. She asked for perfume and used some of it and said, "By Allah, I am not in need of perfume, but I have heard Allah's Apostle saying on the pulpit, 'It is not lawful for a lady who believes in Allah and the last day to mourn for more than three days except for her husband for whom she should mourn for four months and ten days.' " Zainab further said, "I heard my mother, Um Salama saying that a woman came to Allah's Apostle and said, "O Allah's Apostle! The husband of my daughter has died and she is suffering from an eye disease, can she apply kohl to her eye?" Allah's Apostle replied, "No," twice or thrice. (Every time she repeated her question) he said, "No." Then Allah's Apostle added, "It is just a matter of four months and ten days. In the Pre-Islamic Period of ignorance a widow among you should throw a globe of dung when one year has elapsed." I said to Zainab, "What does 'throwing a globe of dung when one year had elapsed' mean?" Zainab said, "When a lady was bereaved of her husband, she would live in a wretched small room and put on the worst clothes she had and would not touch any scent till one year had elapsed. Then she would bring an animal, e.g. a donkey, a sheep or a bird and rub her body against it. The animal against which she would rub her body would scarcely survive. Only then she would come out of her room, whereupon she would be given a globe of dung which she would throw away and then she would use the scent she liked or the like."

              Volume 7, Book 63, Number 252
Narrated Um Salama Similar to above

There are other dung related verses but I will stop at that.

Transformer I suggest you read these SAHIH hadith carefully and then would you please point out which verses in Quran they are 'intructions' for? Thank you.

This is not what I said God gave us Quran to follow him and sent from us prophet to teach us . There is difference between the book which is "" "" and the book which is "Quran" . We don't compare them because they are not the same thing .

But you say Muhammed is teaching us from hadith so why did Allah send Quran? What has this archived board got to do with it all? Why does Allah mention the archived board and call if the Book then tell us nothing about it?

This is nonsense, Quran contains orders and instructions, these instructions has been practiced by the prophet and God taught them how to perform them, people saw the deeds of the prophet and heard his sayings and they regisetred them, because it was an order in Quran to obey him and take lessons from him about the matters .
No you are talking nonsense. Now you say Quran contains orders AND instructions so why the 'instructions' of hadith? if the instruction IN Quran were performed by the prophet then they are IN Quran and we dont need another set of instructions for the instruction Book do we?

God heard the sayings of Muhammed and registered them in ????? hadith? So GOD registered them in Sahih bukhari even after saying you need NO HADITH after the Quran? so God contradicts himself again? i am wondering why anyone follows a god that cant quite make up his mind whether His Book is fully detailed and complete or it needs another set of instructions to instruct the learner how to follow the fully detailed and complete book. ???

Are you now denying thise verse "were given the Book and the Wisdom" ? Quran is full of wisdom right and no one is going to deny this but this thing have mentioned in other verses but here God says something else .
of course I am not denying the verses of God, thats your job to deny and twist the meanings. Here God says He gave Quran and the Wisdom. The Wisdom is IN the Quran as Quran says IT is FULL of Wisdom. Now are you saying that the book was so FULL of Wisdom there was no room for more (remember the tea?) so He had to give more Wisdom as an apppendix because His publisher said there are already enough words and Wisdom IN Quran?

I know where you have the problem, you don't want Hadith because some things there are tough for you . No one from us deny that the best hadith is Quran according to the Gospel and The Torah. even the word "AL-HIKMA" God classified it before these two books . And as I said the best Hadith was for non-believers .
Well yes you could say some things in Hadith a 'tough' for me because I already have enough Wisdom to know not to wash with dung, even before I read Sahih hadith. But I do not believe these are from the prophet, or from Allah and that is why I reject them. Even if I did believe they were from the prophet I would still reject them as part of Islam because God TELLS ME TO In the Best Hadith. Why when I have the BEST do I want LESS than the BEST?

'No one from us deny that the best hadith is Quran according to the Gospel and The Torah' ??? so according to the Gospel and the Torah the Quran is the best Hadith? Where in the Gospel and Torah does it say that? Do you know what 'according to' means?

You're asking like jewish and christian and atheists as well, the non-believers are the people who deny that the Quran is not from God and the non-believers are the people who deny the prophethood of Muhammed peace be upon and the non-believers are the people who deny the existence of God and the non-believers are the worshippers of Idols.

Ok got that straight, I am a believer and you're not. peace

Quran I know it better than you. And so the Hadith .
i dont think so because if you did know Quran you would be following it instead of something else not from God, but you have a chance to show me im wrong and explain which verses from Quran that the above hadith are 'instructions' for.

This is the truth, denying it, will not serve you, believing in it, will serve you .

Quran is the truth, you wouldnt know truth if it smacked you in the empty space between your ears.

I think you've got the verse numbers in the above quotation wrong. I gave you verses 3531,32, but you've translated verses 3532,33 instead, putting the translation of verse 3532 for 3531, and 3533 for 3532!

Anyways, you seem to have been pretty confused. I recommend that you take some time off and try to meditate a little, then come back fresh and relaxed. GOD'S business is a very serious one. Just remember we are all responsible before GOD(SWT). Try not sell what belongs to GOD for a cheap price. Remember, the life of this world is nothing but an illusion, 3185, then sooner than latter we will all be standing before Him to answer.

                    Peace,
                    Khalil

Once again, who are these 'with authority' from amongst us and what is their role in light of the following ayat?

459 O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day That is best, and most suitable for final determination.

                      Peace

I would say they are our governments and lawmakers of the countries we reside in. They are the ones 'charged with authority' over a people so to speak. We live in countries with laws other than living by our Quranic 'laws' so we have to obey the laws of the land.

I would want to know the Arabic word, here, for "authority" and its etymology.
The authority obviously, however, begins with Al Lah and the Messenger.

lets see if their answer is different than this

                            2334

"If you obey a human being like you, then you are really losers.

And this is why we are told in many verses to use him as an example because he always relied on the Qu'ran and the Qu'ran only to give advice. When the people asked the prophet (pbuh) things, He was delivered a verse from the allmighty, was he not? And please tell me what happened when he tried to placate people without a direct revelation from God addressing their questions.

                                    Dear Ayisha

But the Islamic based governments and lawmakers would have and some still do implement sharia law and follow the Sunnah of the Prophet PBUH which the PM's are totally against. Why would you then obey these people/institutions if they are lost for over 1400 years because they are followers of Hadith and Sunnah?

If you on the other hand are applying this to secular and non islamic states, then you are saying that Allah SWT has given us the Quran and Islam but has asked us to follow the non islamic route! The whole ayat then becomes contradictory and hypocritical by telling us to follow the right way in Allah SWT and the Prophet PBUH, but then follow those (non islamic governments and lawmakers) who are totally against Allah SWT and Prophet PBUH. Does this make any sense?

                                    Dear Shadowpuppet

No one is disputing the authority lying with Allah SWT and the Prophet PBUH. The ayat in question specifically asks believers to obey Allah, and obey the Prophet PBUH and obey those in authority.

We know Who is being referred to when Allah SWT is mentioned and we know who is being referred to when the Prophet PBUH is mentioned. What I am asking is who is being referred to when 'those in authority' is mentioned.

                                    Peace

Those in authority who do not ask you to follow things which the Qu'ran forbids you from following. For example Is it against the Qu'ran to obey traffic laws/laws that govern driving? No, you must obey the authorities and follow these laws.

This is a very difficult question however and this is just an answer the above is just an answer that came to mind as of right now, I will have to give it some more thought, it is an intelligent question which cannot be answered immediately and in a simple way.

It says obey Allah so thats paramount of course. Now you say the 'Islamic based govts and lawmakers' implementing sharia law which PMs are against BUT I live in Egypt and although sharia Law is a bit hit and miss here, as in not 'quite' sharia Law, the Egyptian Law and Authorities ARE based on ISLAMIC LAW. Are you saying I shouldnt obey the traffic laws here or the theft laws here because they are 'based on sharia' slightly??

ANYONE has to obey the laws of the country they LIVE in. Now I dont know but maybe in a fully sharia run country (of which there are NONE) it would be acceptable to kill your daughter for not being a virgin, but if you live in UK this is NOT acceptable and you would be punished by the law of UK, not of the law you may believe in but dont LIVE in the country of.

I dont know where you live but you HAVE NO CHOICE but to OBEY the laws of the country or you will be punished BY those authorities. How is THAT not Islamic? They are 'authorities charged over you'. If you dont AGREE with the laws of no murder no rape no theft then you MOVE but as far as I can see there are no countries that have LAWS that are NOT in line with Islam. There are certainly no LAWS in the UK authorities that say ' you MUST have sex before marriage, you MUST steal, lie, cheat you neighbour and you MUST murder 3 people a week', so saying that LAWS of a country are not Islamic is rather silly.

I am NOT for sharia Law for the pure reason it is NOT based on the rock solid Quran and is based on a very UNSTABLE set of possibly fabricated hadith, we only have to look at a few totally ridiculous fatwa to see that. AND because I dont think LAW should have things like 'you have to wear a full burka' because that is taking away the CHOICE and is against 'there is no compulsion in religion'. Sharia Law IMHO is AGAINST Islam. It goes against everything Allah says.
