I have no idea where to start. I do but it will probably come out like gumbo so, i'll keep it short. I am a Muslim born and raised in America to Sunni traditionalists. After being Muslim for 36 years now and having my own family I have embarked on a journey to understand Islam for myself minus outside influences ( i.e. family, imams and Sheiks). Frankly it's been tough. I feel like a drug addict battling an addiction which, leads to moods swings, and uncertainty. With that said, I believe 100% that ALLAH will guide me as, he's always done throughout my life. What I hope to gain from being here is simply a better understanding of Quran with hopes that I am able to increase my Iman, my Knowledge and make this Islam easy for myself and Family.
