I wouldn't say that calling someone a "sectarian thug" is "greeting them with peace". I wouldn't say that chopping off a piece of a child's penis is coming at them with peace either.
And I would NEVER call somebody who believes the Quran isn't divine a believer. Nobody in their right might would. Furthermore you say that EVEN IF the Quran was written by God, none of it could actually be understood to mean anything. If one thing says one thing, it might actually mean the exact opposite of what was said. Blue might mean green. Up might mean down.
Yes, you believe that the Quran was sent to us to provide confusion, instead of guidance.. Sounds a lot like the Christian rejectors who say that the Quran WAS an inspiration, but an inspiration from the devil himself....

LOL that's all you say is "sectarian thug"... What sect am I exactly? The one that believes the Quran? How is not cutting a part of your baby's dick off "condemning them to AIDS"?? How about teaching your kid to use a condom? Why don't you get mad at God for letting AIDS be created, or why don't you get mad at GOD for giving children foreskin, he's the one that designed us.

No, you have it wrong. If you're someone who actually believes the Quran was written by God and is unaltered then you're a "sectarian thug". Yes, that means you are part of that evil bigoted sect of Islam which claims that the Quran is real!
If you want to be a fair and balanced Muslim, you have to accept that the Quran was written and changed by men, and that none of means anything anyway, cause any statement can mean the exact opposite of what it says. Mmmkay? whatever

I don't like this fundamentalist fascism that says it is impossible to believe something is inspired by God without believing it letter for letter infallible. And yes, people who practise this unQuranic takfir ideology, calling people they disagree with 'unbelievers', are sectarian thugs.

Hello.
One issue regarding circumcision has really bothered me. We all probably live in places and circumstances where safe and hygienic conditions plus financial considerations are taken for granted. I really think about how the poorer population would struggle to have such an operation performed just to fulfill a "religious" requirement. Would it not place them under undue hardship and risk if it was an actual requirement?

Thats pretty much true for many parts in Egypt. Its generally done at home with either a doctor, an old woman/man who has been doing this for years or the local imam. Its not done under western 'hygeine' conditions, neither for boys or girls and girls still die from this either after its done by bleeding to death or later on the wedding night when they are 'opened' too aggressively.

If you are living in unhygienic conditions it becomes even more important and the benefits are greater because it makes a man's penis more resistant to disease. Don't forget the tradition comes from people living in desert climates where it was difficult to wash regularly. The foreskin is a mucous membrane which in those conditions is likely to become smelly and infected.

How does it work? The head of the uncircumcised penis is a mucous membrane, just like the inside of the mouth or the vagina. The inner surface of the foreskin is rich in cells that viruses can target. When the foreskin is removed the skin keratinizes - hardens. The cells become more like ordinary skin, a much more effective barrier to infections. Essentially circumcision dramatically reduces the amount of the penis's surface area that is exposed to viruses and bacteria. There are other factors - uncircumcised men, if they don't regularly wash under the foreskin, will accumulate dirt and smegma. Viruses can incubate there. Tears in it are, I'm told, a common problem, especially during sex - these pose further infection risks. One friend who had a circumcision when he was 19, on medical advice, says that before the cut he used to "explode in a geyser of blood", often at the most embarrassing moments. (Now he tells me that putting on a condom is easier - and sex is more pleasurable.)
