Ok. Being the U.S.A. is going to have universal health coverage, everyone will be paying taxes to fund it. We were all told that abortions would not be included in the health bill. But just suppose if it manages to be included. Are we to still pay for the murder of the unborn, or defy it? Now; before some of us may say that we are to obey our government and pay our taxes as we should. However, when reading the Exodus account of when Pharoah ordered the Hebrew women to surrender the male babies in order to be killed so the population would not increase, the women defied Pharoah and submitted to God. Are our leaders higher in authority than God? Certainly not. I just pray abortion is not included in the health care bill.

      Peace,
      Respect.

I am strictly and always against the abortion. Abortion is a murder! police It does not matter how old the person is or where the person is, what God gave life to, no human has the right to take it away. God is The Provider, remember that, that tells me that God is the One who Provides for all inhabitants of this planet, all three species. Thank God.

I would say taxes are sin but since you live in such a country, you're maybe a little oppressed, until Quran becomes the law and not man-made laws, which clearly don't work.

Is it possible to pay taxes to only specific cause?
Is it possible to say that you want your taxes to go to a specific destination?
That might help, God knows best.
      Peace.

        Peace,

what about artificial insemination? In some countries, the health insurances pay for this, even for repeated attempts. And this is very, very expensive.

I do understand that some people wish to have a child of their own. But given the fact that there is no medical necessity for this procedure and that there are countless orphans in this world who are in dire need of a loving home, should health insurances -- and thus the people who pay the rates -- be responsible for financing it? Personally, I think no.

          Articificial insemination? hmm hmm
What exactly is artificial insemination? A semen from one person goes to some other couple.
I know this might be and is very expensive and I agree, only those involved should be paying, then again, we are not the government ....yet!
          Peace.

              Respect.

I guess people should eat healthy and be active and next generations will be then healthier, God willing.
My grandparents use to eat only and exclusively healthy food and they lived well over the age of 75. AlhamdilAllah.

Artificial insemination won't be necessary once the parents with no kids see the beauty of adopting, God willing.
If i was married, i'd adopt couple of kids, why not?

              Peace.

I don't believe abortion is murder. But I am against universal health care.

The question for you is, what do you do if abortion is included in the bill? And the more generalized question for all of us is, if we know our government is immoral, do we continue living here and paying taxes or would we rather move somewhere else or go to prison?

I don't think there is a simple answer.

Nice to know that you're still kicking Lobster.

Why are you against universal health care?

No simple answer, like you said...but could there ever be a place where the laws we are forced to abide by, are 100% morally appetizing? I do believe that we have to stand up for what we believe in, and not just with our mouths. I would think you'd choose the prison option, but I don't know what good that does, on a grand scale. It allows you to feel less guilty, but doesn't really accomplish much else..
Isn't the prison option also a selfish choice?

If we break the law, are we being dishonest? ...Of course, everyone breaks the law one time or another, consciously or not.
