Clarification regarding word آل
-
Assalam Alekum,
Quran e Hakeem mentioned word آل فرعون at multiple places. When I looked up its meaning, it appeared as "Family, Kins".
An objector raised an objection that Quran contains mistake while mentioning word آل with Firaun because Firaun was a king and he was chasing Bani Israel to capture them and it is obvious that he would take his army to capture fugitives instead of family.
Shortly, he thinks that word آل is inappropriate with Firaun at certain places because it was his army which chased the fugitives and not his family or relatives only.Kindly help me find answer to this question
Wasalam Aleykum
