Respect.I think/believe that The Truth is hapening now, Thank God, The Truth and Justice is coming out of the shade, Thank God and people will finally see what I've been eagerly waiting for so long - they wills ee the difference between being a muslim and being a sunni, the dofference of following Qur'an and just saying following Qur'an.
Of course, one should be aware that such debates or even arguments can be dangerous in the Middle East but not so in The West. I'v ehad several debates here regarding this issue and Thank God I'm still alive, Healthy and kicking, Thank God. May God gives us The BestnHealth and The Best Patience. And extend our knowledge, God willing.

Bad idea. Not because of the contents of the video, but because you won't be able to change the mindset of such a person by sending them texts or videos.
Imho it is good that you parted ways with your fiance. Not because you are Qur'an only and he is a sunni, but based on what you mention above and my knowledge about Egyptian society, I would say that he is a very traditional and close-minded person. He wants his (non-existing) daughter to start wearing hijab at the age of ten -- wth?!? Have you talked about the issue of female circumcision with him? This is still being practiced by many people in Egypt, and they believe it's "Islamic".

The website is not a Koranist one. It had a video about a debate.
There is some even better debate by the same person this time with an Azahari cleric. It gets heated. But the Koranist(Ahmed Abdu Maher) did a good job laying his case. It is in 9 parts. We need someone to create subtitles for tehse videos. There are many such videos coming out of Egypt. The Koranist there are breaking grounds due to sattelite TV.

sadly, it is my husband not fiance. am in the process of divorce.
after sleeping on it, i am going to send him the video. what dr. mansour said is what i said all along but given i don't speak arabic, i am looked down upon and discounted.
i asked god to guide me and he has lead me to this point. it is god who guides us if we ask. my soon to be ex-husband listens and follows clerics/imams. he wanted me to meet with the imam. i am amazed at how so many muslims just follow without questioning. when my husband said that the koran doesn't tell us how to do wudu and that's where the hadith comes in play, i went right to the koran pointing out to him that is not true and asked him to refer me to the hadiths where prophet muhammad gives instructions on how to do wudu.
whether people like my husband follow the koran or not, that is between him and god but at least he has heard it in his life. for me it is a bit personal given how hijab, hadith and cultural ways of thinking and treating woman lead to the breakdown in marriage. it is really sad.

Actually all the videos I posted are super good as they are debates with Sunni clerics of the highest calibre. The Koranist layed their case pretty good if you were to ask me. It may not convince Sunnis the Koranist point of view but it will weaken their confidence in the Sunni point of view as they can see that Sunnism has no real answers when confronted with Koranic verses. Its very sad to see how religion can seperate people like this.
Thats why these videos should be posted here with their translation. I might try the next few months to actually translate some of the videos, especially the debates as they present both point of view. Koranist may not have all the answers but every debate I saw them with against Sunni clerics their answers were more convincing that the Sunni one which never seems to have support from the Koran except through implied reasoning from a verse or two. Thats one thing i detected is Sunnis use implied reasoning from a verse or two to formulate ideas ignoring the many other explicit verses that refutes that idea. Implied reasoning uses vague verses that can be interpret differently depending on how you look at it while explicit verses are straight forward. These debates show many examples of that.
Obey God and His messenger IMPLIES there is another source other than Koran. The Koran and wisdom IMPLIES that there is another source other than the Koran. But the Koran never actually said there was another source other than the Koran. What it DID SAY about itself is fully detailed and clear and an exposition of all things and a guidance to mankind and it says that many times very clearly.
This actually seems as a standard format of how Sunni formulate ideas in many issues including apostasy laws, abrogation and punishment of the grave etc. Its always implied reasoning.
Anways more Arabic videos this time about the miracle 19 code by Ahmed Rifa' also in Egyption TV. This one caused a stir and there are many videos in youtube where Sunni clerics try to refute Ahmed Rifa'i. It has many series about the code 19 miracle and tackles Sunnah and abrogation.
