All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

welcome welcome to the forum, brother.
I also used to live in a communistic country, Yugoslavia, but then we separated, Thank God.

Regarding mentioning human's name in the prayer is not according to The Qur'an, in fact, it is wrong and I would advise against it. Why would you mention Mohammad's name in the prayer or Abraham's name or the name of any human, humans can't help you, in fact, on many occasions they stand in our way to the good life and way of life.

            Just a friendly note, brother.

The red highlighting above is from me.

                Salaam,

As a Muslim, versus Sunni, Shi'ah, and... you go ahead and participate the Salaat within the congregation in the mosque, but you commemorate and mention ALLAAH ALONE in your salaat. and when they mention the Prophet's name, pbuh, in the ADZAN/call to prayer, keep reciting the verse 7218 within your heart as a reminder. May ALLAAH SWT accept from all of us and guide us within His straight path.

                Peace,
                Khalil

                  http//free-minds.org/Friday-Prayers

If your English is not enough to cover it, in short There is no such mention of a ritual as "Friday Prayer/Namadh" in Qur'an. Feel free to not attend to it. It is better to keep your time for reading the Qur'an.

                  Regards.

Salaam. welcome Stone. I think you will gain a lot from the forum - it's an excellent source for hearing the views of others. I'm sorry I can't help you too much with your questions. I'm new as well, and not really that scholarly.
