Hello Law Abiding Monotheist!
Do you abide by God's laws alone or man-made laws too?
(I suspect your first post may have been in the the wrong forum, so if the latter is true your name is something of a paradox. ;D)
Seriously though, welcome. welcome bravo welcome handshake welcome

Had to move your thread to the correct forum.
welcome aboard LAM.
edited to add Don't hesitate to tell us a bit about yourself.

Well, thanks for the warm welcome everybody. (Sorry for posting in wrong area.)
I've been checking in and out of here for the last year though keeping pretty much to myself as I got "deprogrammed".
Thank God, things are getting better.
After one year considering many things there was one thing I had clear all along that never changed and that was Zakat.
I know of no better place to get some good honest peer-review so I have posted my videos on Youtube and linked from here.
I have done things this way because I want to have as much control as possible over the publishing of my ideas. This is so because even though Zakat is one of those things I've had clear for this past year....I might just change my mind and in which case I want to be able to retract, apologize and correct, God Willing.
Salams!

Thanks Alen!
Well, I was hoping to find some good tough, intelligent, criticism of my analysis of Zakat. I posted the links to the two youtube vids outlining my theory but I've not heard from anybody yet ((
Salams.
Peace,
Respect.welcome welcome to the forum.
Seek and you shall find.

peace LAM,
Welcome to the forum.
I think people would prefer a brief summary of your view in an actual post, otherwise you are asking members to watch your two videos which are about 20mins, and since you are a new member on the forum, your competency is unknown.
Just a suggestion.

Salam Wakas,
Thank you for responding and thanks for the suggestion.
In 985 God says that the people of the book (984) were only commanded to worship God alone, pray, and give "zakat".
This has now established a link between Zakat and the people of the book who were commanded to give 10% of everything. Leviticus 2730.
So when the reading was sent to them, the amount was already known. 7024. A haqun ma'lum.
That is fundamentally it.
Salams.
