      Not bad.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

interesting s/he is pro headcovering because context though i feel like showing them

The word "khumur" is used in 2431 and can be the plural of "khimaar" or "khimirr", and can mean any cover made of cloth or headcover, according to Classical Arabic dictionaries and Traditional Ahadith/Narrations (see Ibn Kathir tafsir). Please note the Arabic preposition "bi" meaning "with" in "bikhumurihinna", which means they are to cover their chests with their "khumur/covers/headcovers". The usage of preposition "bi" is different to the preposition "min" as used in 3359 "min jalabeebihinna" which means to use a part of their "jilbab/outer-garment" in the modification suggested, i.e. not all of it has to be lowered or drawn near, just part of it. In 2431 if God intended that part of it (e.g. headcover) stays on the head and part of it be used to cover the bosom, it would have been more appropriate to use "min khumurhinna". Furthermore, the word "yadribna" as used in 2431 has no connotation of lengthening or lowering in any other occurrence, unlike "yudneena" in 3359 which does, thus would have been more appropriate to use.

The emphasis in the quote is about pre-existence of "headcover" covering head and face. The basic premises of the argument is mere supposition. The issue is neither of hair nor of face but . "And nor they should expose/make eminent/noticeable their attraction except that out of it which has naturally become evident/raised above the surface. "

What to do about that which has already become apparent/surfaced on the chests

"And for this they should draw barrier/distance their surfaced bosoms to obscure with their unsown sheets upon their chests." The object of the verb, included in my translation, is not mentioned since it is understood having already been mentioned "that which has already become prominently surfaced".

And this instruction is for the location while they are in their homes.

The Ayat has nothing to do with what people call "headcover", a sheet of cloth-scarf to cover the head/hair.

The head and face of girl growing into puberty and becoming a woman always remains evident. And only start emerging surfacing above surface. The verb means that which has already emerged/surfaced/bulged and this relates only to bosoms.
