salam sahcrel. i say this in kindness. seek medical attention. you have some sort of seizures, judging by the description of your condition.

do not delay seeking medical help, you may have an aneurysm or tumor that is pressing on the part of the brain that controls movement of the mouth arms and legs. there are other medical conditions that can cause these seizures. go to a doctor immediately, your life may be in danger if a possible aneurysm bursts or a possible tumor presses on nerves that control the heart rate and breathing.

to the people on the forum who are making jokes about his condition, i do not see anything funny here.

    allah is the healer.

Isn't that how djinn mess with human bodies? They just jump in and play around with the chemicals.

Controlling djinn, is as easy as controlling children or animals. One could use chemicals... then again one could use the other technique of shouting your aggression at it.

I don't know if it is possession, but I can find no other explanation. It has faded to almost nothing since it began, but used to happen somewhat strongly at least once a week. It would begin with a strange feeling followed by uncontrollable laughter and one or two limbs moving against my will. Then I would lose almost all control of my body and fall to the ground, shaking, convulsing, or jerking erratically while laughing uncontrollably. Eventually, my movements would seem less random and my vocal outbursts more controlled, but not of my own will. Eventually they would form into words and sentences, some with meaning, some without, but all in strange voices that I can never mimic outside of these strange episodes. I have forgotten even most of what seemed to have meaning, But I would often say something that sounded like "I am Nirj!" Then I would get up, but not of my own will, and move and do things while speaking in those voices. Sometimes more than one voice at once. Eventually, it would slowly begin to stop, and I would regain partial control of my body, but could not speak, and could not walk without being brought back down. Completely regaining control could take several minutes. Once, someone was with me while it happened, and I effortlessly outmatched all their strength with just one arm. When this was still going strongly, I would always wake up at 300, 330, or 333 every morning. Usually I would wake up in the middle of saying something in one of the voices, and once instead of speech it was an inhuman roar. I would always wake up much stronger and faster than normal, though that would quickly fade. Now it is mostly nothing, and I do not wake up at those times. But if I happen to be awake when the time comes, I hear things outside my door. Things, almost human, whispering and speaking in a language I don't understand. Always at 300, 330, or 333, no other time.

      salam Sahcrel,
just wondering.... have you consulted a doctor yet, or are you feeling better i hope...inshallah pr

        Peace Sahcrel & all,

I would like to share with you some experience I have had with these kinds of issues. Please don't take any of my comments as insulting, I am merely relating my experiences & the conclusions I reached through them.

Many years ago when I was wading my way through the mass of falsehoods in search of truth, I was studying with people who were trying to help people who were apparently "possessed" by jinn. This work involved "communicating" with the jinn & other unseen entities. It also involved the making of amulets, etc.

Now during this time, I had the opportunity to "communicate" with these unseen entities & I believed I was communicating with them because it was supposed to be some kind of telepathy. This was, I believe total hogwash. This is truly an industry that was created & relies on symptomatic treatment of medical conditions, both physical & psychological.

I will relate a case we dealt with as an example. It involved a young lady who was supposedly possessed by a jinn or some other entity. This particular case was very illuminating for me since the "treatment" was very long & drawn out. This gave me the opportunity to observe her closely over a long period of time. What I noticed was that there were times when she was suppopsed to be "possessed" & seemed to forget she was supposed to be possessed, reverting to normal behaviour for a few seconds. This seemed curious to me as I had not noticed this before. I think it was because I was usually exposed to "patients" for much shorter periods of time. Also through the course of this case, there appeared to be times when she was getting better, but invariably reverted back to possession. This trend was true for many people we dealt with, that is they appeared to get better, only to revert again. As I said earlier some of these problems seem to be physiological in nature & some appear to be psychological. This particular case never quite got resolved through these treatments & a few years later I heard that this woman died from some kind of brain angerism.

I would therefore urge you as others have to seek medical attention as a matter of urgency. Rather be safe than sorry. I am not a great supporter of modern medicine as I think they too often treat symptoms rather than the cause as most doctors are products of a corrupt pharmceutical industry. I do believe however that modern diagnostic equipment & techniques are very advanced & accurate.

        All the best

        Imraan

          salaam

          what a coincidence!

a couple of weeks ago, during a group meditation, someone was possessed, jinn or otherwise is beyond me. she spoke alright, but not in her usual voice though. while some were concerned and spoke to 'her', i decided to maintain my silence, and keep calm. i was not searching for 'her', never expecting 'her', nor excited about what 'she' had to say. my focus was being calm.

after it was all over (after telling that 'she' would leave the woman's body), the possessed dropped onto the floor, unconscious, and regained herself after a few minutes.

people left the room as if nothing ever happened, but i was curious over the incident. a few who were still in the room suggested that it has been a 'usual' thing happening to her. and it has been years!

sad. really. meditation is a way to appease the mind. it is supposed to calm the mind (at the very least), but some has decided to allow themselves to be 'possessed'. it reminded me of a verse in al-qalam which in my comprehension means; "What comfort from your Lord to you (s) by being possessed?"

the key in my comprehension is 'the state of peace/calmness'. always keep that in mind. in whatever situation (within or without), please be calm, or at peace. strive, and savour the peace/calmness within.

whenever you are confronted in a strange situation (meeting someone being possessed by anger or jinn, for example), remember to be calm. be at peace. be assured that God is closely observing, and ever ready to help/asist/support anyone who is calm. don't entertain (by speaking to the possessed person, no matter the threats) anything other than the sure thought that God is close, and ever ready to help/assist/support. simply be calm. don't entertain the possessed/'possessor'. insha-Allah nothing matters to you other than God. and the 'possessed' shall be alright. insha-Allah.

and if you happened to be the person often possessed, the prevention is simply 'be calm' in whatever is the situation. always remember God wherever you are. remember God in times of happiness, elation or misery. never ever allow worry or anger to overcome you. be still. be at peace. be calm. be the peaceful self. remember God. insha-Allah.

you are not the worried self. you are not the angry self. indeed, you are the calm self. you are the peaceful self. remember that God is very close. be assured of God. that is the key - the assured self.

and if you happened to hear voices externally (for example, as if someone is whispering into your ears or you hear the plants or the water is talking to you), while focussing on being calm by remembering God, tell it off and say that you only listen to God.

a medical check up is adviseable, though, especially physiological.

may God guide us all on the correct/honorable path. insha-Allah.

            Not anything to add really.

I believe in demonic/jinn or ghost possession, Ive witnessed it. No it wasnt anything like the movies. I was laying in bed with my wife and she was asleep, the voice came from my wifes mouth which wasnt hers and starting talking to me. I was shocked at first, Yes she was asleep and no she wasnt talking in her sleep and no I dont use drugs. ;D . Any way, I just said In the name of God, leave here and dont come back. It hasnt happened again.

Other than my own experience, there have been plenty of legit possessions throughout the world in all societies and religions to deny that they dont happen.

The Quran clearly states that satan was an angel, by virtue of the immense powers and rank bestowed upon him. This is why he is addressed as an angel (234, 711, 1529, 1761, 1850, 20116, 3871) prior to his fall. By definition, a jinn is a fallen angel (1850). Satan's rebellion teaches us that the angels were created with minds of their own, and absolute freedom of choice (234).

Im not saying that satan is this Christian demi-god that Christians believe in,that has more power or equal power with God, but I do believe he is a jinn/fallen angel and that jinns/demons do exist. ha'satan in Hebrew means "the adversary", implying that he is an adversary of both God and mankind.

I am curious to know what your quranic basis is for accepting the concept of possession. Also if your opinion is based solely of this one incident, I think you need to consider looking at this in more depth to see if there are any other explanations. The biggest problem with these issues is that they are not repeatable under controlled conditions.

This sounds like you could definitely have some kind of visitor. Do not see a doctor! I may be able to point you in a beneficial direction. Know however that this is not a jinn or demon. Those of us who say we are followers of Quran alone should be figuring out what jinn truly are, in this understanding lies the key to unlocking much knowledge and truth.

                  Salam to all.
I would really love to know where the Quran talks about Jinn or Demonic possession. I don't want stories jackanorys balamories I want Quranic proof. I personally do not believe in witchcraft possession or ghosts and goblins. I do believe Jinn are another creation of Allah swt and not as some say a fantasy or nafs/desires. So who else on here is like minded.
                  Respectfully yours
