Good ways to argue?

Peace Everyone!
I'm a new Muslim and one who feels that Quran only is the only proper way to submit. I'm blessed to be part of a local Muslim community that is very interested in my views.
But I'm being lazy so I want to ask you guys a question. What are some great arguments to use in polite discussions and debates with our brothers and sisters who are Hadith followers? Is there a thread with a bunch of arguments together?
Also I'm glad this community is here, it's a great support for those of us God-Alone Muslims out there! sun

These days I usually mention what The Quran says about the subject, or ask them open questions about their views, which makes them think, or apply logic or analogies and see what happens. I rarely argue as such.

why argue though? how about just stating what you believe and explaining yourself.

one suggestion would be to read articles, posts. do a search, cut and paste, print it out. there are some really nice articles, posts here. put a handout together.
a lot of people don't know. i didn't know what hadith was or read the quran in a language that i know.
i am now in the process of putting somethings together myself but not hadith followers who want to know. i recently moved to a small town where more than 99% of the people here are white, christians, and what they know of islam is primarily negative. i am printing out rev john's interview. and then verses from the quran and hadiths to explain to people who ask me. time constraint has always been my problem and many things i keep putting off but when i am done putting things together, will share.
