        Your a deadly bunch... o

Why do they purposely leave out some fundamental facts but love to quote (332), (480), (3336), (2456), (2454), (597) out of context to suit their needs.

How about the following, how will they answer the following?

        (592), (1681-82), (291, (6412), (33), (4113), (2174), (2176), (619), (820), (1336-3, (379), (6114), (1036), (54, (592), (6412), (619), (456), (6114), (6943-47).

Anyways, I like this statement - "they are very few in number but are deadly"

But the Quran says it best -

559 Say ?O people of the Book, do you hate us simply because we
believe in God and in what was sent down to us and what was sent
down before?? Alas, the majority of them are wicked.

367 The retribution has been deserved by most of them, for they do
        not believe.

        414 A bearer of good news, and a warner. But most of them turn away;
        they do not hear.

5103 God did not decree any restrictions for combining of livestock, or
roaming livestock, or ones that give twin births, or a stallion freed
from work; but the people who rejected invented lies to God, and
most of them do not comprehend.

1036 Most of them only follow conjecture. While conjecture does not
avail against the truth in anything. God is aware of what they do.

I am happy to be the ?few in number? than the ?majority? who are wicked or the ?most of them? who do not believe, hear, comprehend or just follow conjecture. All about quality, not quantity ;D

Peace to the few who believe

                    Salam and Peace on everyone!

                    Agreed, brother!

Allah declares that Majority of the people is misguided.-----And majority is Bukhari-followers!

---"Yet, if you obey the majority of people on earth, they will take you away from The Path of Allah (which is Al-Quraan only). That is because they follow CONJECTURE, and they do not but falsify". (Al-Anaam-116)---

Thank???s be to Allah, that a few people are not among the Majority of the last ummah. True Muslims (only the Quraan-followers) have always been in a very little minority. Read what your Allah is saying and then look around.

-----"And none believed with him, except a few." (Houd-40)

Tell, how many people of the last ummah believe in Allah's Quran as The Only Source of Deen?????
May Allah guide the ummah to The Right Path (Quran).

Some of us have very comical views about Hadith or Sunnah without even knowing what are these meant?

Rafi Usmani is wrong! The earliest Hadith rejections were from Imam Bukhari, Muslim etc. However the difference between them and today's refuters is that they tried to dig out the truth from the available material with the "best" tools available at their time (though those tools have no significance today) and today's refuters are refuters for the sake of being called Modern and avoid being called traditionalist or fundamentalist. However there is lot of work being done to eliminate falsehood from truth by many.

                        Salam and Peace on you!

In Allah's Exalted Quran, we don't find terminologies "Hadith of the Messenger"---Or---"Sunnah of the Messenger".
                        These are the big-ones' diggings.

In Allah's Quran, we find "Way of the Messenger", which is undoubtedly "Al-Quran" only.

However the difference between them and today's refuters is that they tried to dig out the truth from the available material with the "best" tools available at their time (though those tools have no significance today)

Anything which is not significant today, was not even significant in those days.
Yet, if according to your understanding, if it was significant, but it is not, now,-----then leave it.

and today's refuters are refuters for the sake of being called Modern and avoid being called traditionalist or fundamentalist. However there is lot of work being done to eliminate falsehood from truth by many.

How can we know what is in people's hearts. Only Allah knows.

                        Please read further.

------"O mankind, there has indeed come to you the messenger (Muhammad) with The Truth from your Lord. So believe, (that is) better for you." (Al-Nisaa-170)

-----"And follow the best of what has been sent down to you from your Lord, before there comes upon you the punishment suddenly, while you do not perceive." (Al-Zamur-55)

"And this (Quran) is a Book which We have revealed as a Blessing, so follow It and fear (Allah), that you may receive Mercy." (Al-Anaam-155)

----"Follow (O mankind) that which has been sent down to you from your Lord, and do not follow besides Him any awliyah (their books). Little it is you remember." (Al-Aaraaf-3)

Allah commands us to follow His Holy and Exalted Quran.

Allah didn't say follow the Messenger. Allah commanded us to follow His Quran, the way the Messenger himself followed Al-Quran.

If we had to follow the Messenger, then we would have needed the Messenger before us.
We would have needed to see him how he is doing everything in Islam. We would have needed to see him and talk to him.

                        The Messenger---And---The Message.
The Messenger brought The Message, gave it to his ummah, and passed away, by Allah's Will.

Now, the Messenger is not before us,-----but-----The Message he brought, is before us.
We can not see the Messenger, but we can see The Message.

We can only follow what we can see.
So, follow The Message that we can see.
                        This is obeying the Messenger.

Imam Bukhari's Sahih Al-Bukhari is just a book of history. It may contain fabrications, like other books of history.

As a matter of fact-----Even, "the Quran-alone-followers" quote from traditions,-----"the burning of hadith by Umar", for example.

So, anything from the traditions, can be a good thing,-----but it can not become The Source of Allah's Deen.
The Source of Allah's Deen is,-----Allah's Exalted and Safe Quran only.

                        Peace on you.

This has been discussed on tons of pages, and will be hard to roll over again for any new comer; search is a good option. However a question for you

The early Muslims/believers (at time of Muhammad peace is upon him); how did they became Muslims/believers? answer it but carefully.

Regarding your post's part about Messenger please read the thread "Praise be to Muhammad Rasul Allah"

they didn't have bukhari's collection of hadiths. now, they did have the koran. so, they became believers by following the koran.

now, how many who call themselves sunni, actually know what hadith is and who bukhari is?

bukhari used the best tools and collected thousands of stories about the prophet. it matters to me not what method or tool he used. what bukhari did regardless of the methodology is that he recorded and compiled stories people told.

the difference between you and me, rajaah is that you need/seek these stories of the prophet as your source of guidance, in addition or separate from the Quran. whereas i choose instead to take the Quran as my source of guidance.

and the further difference between you and me is that you allege God told us to believe in these stories told by people. whereas i clearly and absolutely make no such allegations about God.

Quranists is a made up word to describe a sect just as sunni or Shia etc. I find these words to be associated with sects (6159) and would rather be known as a Muslim (227.

Doesn't matter what you call yourself, hate mongers will still refer to you as quranist/that-satanic-cult-that-hates-the-prophet, hadith rejecter, nazi-lover, etc. On the WWW people sometimes use the word 'quranist' to identify a certain set of people they may connect or identify with. It is by no means a superficial label, a subdivision of Islam, or a sect.

but he traces the roots to some Jew by the name of Goldsmith who started all this (probably in Germany)..."

TIL, Quranism traces its roots back to The Third Reich.

Actually it does matter what we call ourselves. If we accept their labels we are no better than them in splitting ourselves into sects. When people ask me who I am, I say I am a Muslim, nothing more and nothing less.

                                          Peace
