    Asalaamu alaykum,

I did a short presentation on brainwashing as it occurs in Muslims

    http//www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdhH73oberY

I was wondering if anyone from this forum can give me their thoughts on how brainwashing occurs amongst religious people and what what is the best way to handle it rationally vs. having theological debates with them?

how brainwashing occurs amongst religious people and

By repeatedly warning them to "Have Faith", "Don't questions anything", "It is so because X said so ..".. (Feel free to put any 'holy thing' that you like in X, from Bible, Gospel, Quran, Hadiths, Your favorite books, Your favorite imams etc..)

And if they still resist to 'have faith', then scares them with the "vivid depiction of Hell" of how their asses can be penetrated by a hot rod, or how their skin being boiled in the lake of fire... for all eternity.

what what is the best way to handle it rationally vs. having theological debates with them?

      By telling them to

      1. Start using their brain.
      2. Start using their brain.
      3. Start using their brain.

      Salam / Peace
