    Salaam,

the Christian mind works backwards, in reality everything without exception comes from pure nothingness, but the Christian mind works in confusion and can not accept that simple concept, I have explained this concept in detail on my website in the essay
    http//servantofthelight.com/content/view/92/1/

There is no second choice as the video suggest.

I read your eesay Abdun Nur. You should be sure about your godconcept when you are writing these things. Or else you are really just obscuring the truth (kufr). How can you know that god is "manifested" as creation? God is eternally the same (before creation). What comes and goes is not God. And ofcourse, how do you reconcile a visible god with 6103 (No vision can grasp him)?

          Salaam,
from your comments you did not grasp what I was explaining, possibly due to your failure to read it carefully, as is the method of people looking to misdirect others, your comments make no sense at all, viewed from anything I have expressed, in light of that, it would be pointless to explain anything further to you, as you do not wish to understand only defend what you have no idea of.

Sufi`s are often harsly locked into their state of belief.

"Nothing is".. You might want to try to exchange that to "Nothingness is.." to more clearly convey your message.
"continuous form" - why apply form to the formless?

Your language is also very obfuscated. I skip most of the text because of this.

"being the salaam which holds the dichotomy in balance" If you are supposed to make me laugh, you are accomplishing it.

The rest of that part is utterly garbage, and full of errors.

You have growing God, The Quran has a eternally unchanging God, and emanations and blah blah blah.
Another sufi tries to convey his erroneous pantheism.

"All existence is knowledge pure and undiluted, knowledge gives birth to greater knowledge, communication transcends to transformation, transformation builds from state to state, ever more complex, truth holds all realities in unity."

God is allknowing, and always was. How hard can it be?

"truth is the nature of Existence".. God says "Be" and it is, that is the nature of existence.

And closing up with some reverence for creation.. very sufi-like.
"This dusty blackness, like nothingness, transcends into new innate beauty; the burning fiery sky of the red dawn, slowly filling the world with the fervent colours of blinding brilliance."

Yes it is beautiful, alhamdulillah. But it isnt God. If it was, dont you think the Quran would be full of adoration for created things?

            Peace Be With You.

I believe the proof is in the pudding. And the pudding is that once you love the sun, or the moon, you become an idolater. Abraham loveth not those who set. And he is free of association after rejecting the sun and the moon. Now God is uncreated. Creation is matter. Some of creation is not matter too, like spirits. However God is the creator of all matter. If God was matter, The Quran would make exceptions like, "Yes Abraham God is the sun and the moon, but.." I hope you understand.

The word "outside" itself has the person trapped in spatial thinking. That is the big flaw.

Not exactly sure about what it is a big flaw in/of.... but yes I agree, however this easily happens as our senses live in a spatial world and our language is made to describe this spatial world. We cannot comprehend Allah... we can only make attempts in correct directions, and we can think about what Allah is not.

What choices are you talking about? Are you referring to the initial choices in the dude's clip stating that either "things come from nothing, which is impossible... etc etc"? There can be as many choices as people can think up. Lots of people are pretty convinced about their views, so there would be plenty of choices one could consider, and refute. Hope I didn't get you wrong. Peace

Yes indeed Sir, but I seem to be unable to see the connection of your quote to my original post?

                  Salaam Zulf,

you didn't get me wrong, I was making reference to the impossible, as they conceive, the comments of the other guy 'Paradox' in this thread make no sense, all I can say is believe whatever you want.

I guess the author of the clip wants to say that there must be 'something' that created the creation/universe, and since something cannot come out of nothing, as he called impossible, he say this show that there is a God, that is not part of the created, and that always was, since time is just part of creation.

Are you saying creation came out of nowhere/nothing and that there is no god independent of creation?

                    peace

Have you read about first cause, cosmological argument and similar Zulf? If you`re into logical proof of God, fully acceptable ways of scientific thinking, you should google them.

Yes exactly that is the way with our language, but then even with the limited facilities we have, isn't it far easier to think of Allah in the "HERE" (as we try to think beyond space) and in the "NOW" (as we try to think beyond time) and to experience what Allah is--Al-Rahman, Al-Rahim. This, IMHO, is the more correct direction that anyone can practice and prove to him/herself in this finite life, even as we're 'trapped' in the spatial/temporal thinking.

Personally I find it good to think of Allah's AWARENESS to be 'here'. This is just a way of thinking. This way our minds can think of Allah as 'here' without attempting to "solve it all". How creation is actually composed... spirit, energy or something else... that I don't have a grasp on and I don't think it matter to have all details worked out... and I guess it's not even possible.

As far as time is concerned... all there is is NOW... past and future exist only in our minds, but if one's mind likes to think in terms of time lines, then one can think that Allah is "sitting" outside the time frame (beginning to now to end of times) being able to "look at" all times in history at once. So as far as one self is concerned, one obviously has to think of Allah as NOW, since you yourself is NOW, but Allah is not bound and trapped in time.

We can think of Allah through his good qualities and beautiful names... since we cannot grasp "him" otherwise.

                          All the best,
                          Peace!
