I think you are grossly misjudging this website and its aim.
This website has been established, by Muslims, to promote Islam as taught by God and His messenger and to fight polytheism and sectarian in all thier forms as being the work(s) of Satan.
You are comparing the teachings of this website to those of the Sunnis or Shia (the sects) and are finding them gravely different - which is expected.
Have patience and read some of the articles on this site before making hasty conclusions...

I am sure that you have the best of intentions. But you seem to come off as a fundamentalist with a closed way of viewing things. Try to open your mind to see things from the perspective of a quranist and perhaps you will see why we consider ourselves to be muslim and what it is exactly that we are against. I thought this forum allows people to express their thoughts freely.
By doing mockery of someone's views would defeat the purpose of freedom of expression on this forum.
After all, he is apparently concerned about respectable Messenger of Allah Who chose this person to communicate such a great guidance to mankind.
You are free to pick the message and ignore the messenger and others are free to pay some respect to the messenger also as the task of delivering the message was not easy and should not be considered the laughing stock.
I thought people on this forum respect Muhammad (SAW) but due to lack of authentic information about history, they had no choice but too ignore messenger's efforts and lifetime. But, that does not mean that we make fun of those people in past or make fun of those who respect Messenger despite corruption in the history. -

What a mockery of freedom of expression and speech. The members would have been banned and blocked in your desired sunni/shi sites for just expressing their point of view, yet you come here and get the opportunity to speak your mind and say that we are derailed ? I dont expect much from a person that upholds the hadith of Bukhari above that of Allah. I ask Allah to guide you, only he can. People who get their laws from Allah are corrupted and the ones who get their laws from Bukhari/Muslim are guided ? May Allah reveal some wisdom to you

I do believe in freedom of speech and one's ability to express one's opinions. But what one has to acknowledge, is that there is a fine line between freedom of speech and insult. If someone decides to say something negative or offensive (not that I am offended by the OP's remark), then they have to be prepared for the other party to fight back. The OP expressed that the people in this forum are the enemies of Islam, without acknowledging that the majority of the forum members are muslims who are committed to practice Islam (based on their own interpretation). Simply because the forum members practice and believe Islam differently. I believe that prior to the OP's remark, no one had been hostile to him and is open to civilized and intellectual discussion. While I do not agree if people retaliate using mocking tone, I can understand. After all, you can't expect someone to run away unscathed after launching such a negative remark. Modest and composed speech is preferable, but for some people who may have undergone terrible experience being branded as heretics, it may not be practical.
Respect, and you will be respected (I am talking about things in general, and not about you).
