Why Did Allah not send a "Female Prophet"?
What does Quran say about this matter?
Allah may have sent female messengers. 40/78 tells us there are messengers we haven't been told about. Also, it is interesting that 77/1 uses the feminine form 'al mursalat', the messengers, instead of the more common masculine form 'al mursaleen'.

Good question. I often feel that it mostly had to do with the eras of revelation. Societies at the time were predominantly male-dominated, and female messengers may not have been respected as much, nor able to fend against enemies. Women are also the primary caretaker of infants as they must breastfeed and nurture, and perhaps it would endanger this environment for children as well. Maybe female messengers were sent to smaller and more understanding civilizations, but the more developed ones that the messengers were sent to had to be male, in order to take on the grueling tasks.
It used to bother me when I was younger that Allah would address Himself as a "He" in revelations as well, if He indeed had no gender. But then I realized that in order to convince human beings, He had to present Himself as the most upper tier of beings that we as humans had established. Hence the use of "He" to satisfy a male-dominated society, as well as the use of "We" to be above the way royalty at the time would commonly address themselves.

Well, 22/75 doesn't say men, it says mankind. As for 16/43, it does indeed say rijal, but there are instances in the quran where rijal would reasonably include women, e.g. 24/37.
