Hi My name is Osman. Quiet some time ago I got myself into heavy thought. Ibegan wondering, why is it when I go to the Musjid all I hear about is Prophet Muhammad, how he is the most beloved and his name is next to GOD's name in God's Throne. Then when I read in the Quran I see we are not allowed to make distinctions amongst the prophets. GOD Almighty is mentioned in the Musjid but not as much as Muhammad. I soon began to realize that even with Christians they believe Jesus is the way and if you don't accept Christ into your life you are doomed.
This all started making sense to me when I realized that in order for you to become a Muslim you had to mention Muhammad's name in the testimony, that's when I realized we are Idol worshiping the prophets and Haddiths and what is practiced today in Islam has nothing to do with the Holly Quran
I started researching on the web for the truth, and my oh my the amount of Hadiths that attack the prophet in Bukhari and the other supposed authentic sources bafilled me. I came across submission.org and read some of the stuff there and was amazed at the way I Was misguided for 20yrs. And now I'm here.

Welcome Funny you mentioned this, because as a convert it was these hadith that had my head spinning. As a Christian you get used to hearing bad things about Muhammad (as) So when I read these so called authentic hadith .. I began to doubt his prophethood- thank GOD for the Quran!!
Since coming here and studying Quran and trashing Hadith, I am slowly learning how to love and care about the Prophet. Where before the gap was so large the only thing that had me acknowledge him in the slightest was the Qur'an. I was lost thinking if I don't love this prophet, which I did not. I was doomed no matter how much I love God. Everyone talks about how they wanna meet him and heaven, some sisters say they wish they were married to him, I thought, you guys are crazy! No way do I care to meet him and no way would I ever want to be married to him. There was just no connection, atlease now I have a small on starting. But I will never place him on the high pedastool my hubby and his family does, just not happening.

Salam Osman,
Welcome to the forum. I hope Allah guides you to success. I too could not help but notice that not only Muhammad, but even his friends and family became the focus in the Mosques. It was always about what this imam prescribed, that imam prescribed, this friend of prophet supposedly said, that family of prophet supposedly said, never what Allah clearly said.
The Christians stop reading the words of Jesus soon as they confirm he said " I and my father are one" and surrender to St. Paul and other scholars.
The muslims stop reading the words of their lord soon as they confirm he said "Say Obey God and the messenger." and they surrender to their imams, bukhari, muslim, scholars etc.
Comparative religion justified the "FINAL HOUR" for me, i do get it now, why God finds it necessary to wrap up the heaven and earth someday. Because, they never listen. Its the same thing over and over again, history repeats itself.
May Allah increase you in knowledge.
PEACE

Salam Osman,
It's very annoying when you go to mosques only to hear Imams praising Muhammad/Abu Bakr/Usman etc when it's supposed to be a house of God.
Recently I attended a lecture about Islam from a Sunni scholar from Jordan. Most people listening were Sunnis with quite a few Non Muslims. Not one Quranic verse was mentioned, the whole lecture was based on upon stuff from Hadith. And the Q&A session that followed was even more annoying as some of the answers he gave were ridiculous brickwall I'm sure the non-muslims listening left the room thinking "what the hell was that"
However it's great to see you coming to the truth. The number of Quran Alone muslims are increasing everyday and Inshallah we will have mosques of our own soon were we only praise God.
