All is from God. But not all is divine revelation which has the quality of perfect absolute truth.
By claiming "this is from God" you place yourself in a precarious position. What if it isn't godly?!
279 - Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands, and then say"This is from Allah," to traffic with it for miserable price!- Woe to them for what their hands do write, and for the gain they make thereby.

you may be right. But i think, PradoxU has a philosophical approach for the argument. He/She assumes that we are not apart from God. We are the One and we belong to God. So, the distinctive features of us is consciousness from God.
Nevertheless, we should be careful regardless of the fact.

I also agree with that philosophical viewpoint. However even then a human being is only a part of "God", not the entire thing. When "God" speaks in the quran it is self-evident that the source of those words is ultimately powerful. A human being is not.

This can all be a part of the trials of surrender. What I have found though is that it seems that you have freedom to move as you wish, think as you wish, and do as you wish, when you meditate on the allknowing aspect of God. Peace.

Do you fear the influence of satanic spirits, in surrender?
I do believe, when you say "I seek refuge in Allah", it is meant to have a similar effect to meditation on Allahs attributes, such as meditating on for instance "The Good, The Allknowing". You can check the website in my url, for some meditational excersizes.
The Quran says when you seek refuge in Allah, or remember God, you see aright. So do that if you are unsure. It seems you are likely to do that from time to time, if I understand the Quran correctly.
If you come from a pantheistic viewpoint, you may indeed be influenced by satanic jinn, and your godconcept strongly associated with it. This is some of the reason I made these meditations to begin with, to deassociate my godconcept, or really get closer to the real god. It took quite a bit of time really, (several years) before things really shone, but it works.

I would like to know more about repelling the satan. I personally don't know who, what, whatever this "satan" thing is. It's the archetypal boogeyman, coming to get you at night. Hiding away in silence and striking when you are at your weakest. I can't see this "thing", I have no idea what the hell it is and thus it has a degree of power over me. Is it the folly of my own desires, is it a dark separate entity with malevolant intent, what is it?
When al-quran says that those aligned with ALLAH cannot be touched by the satan whatsoever and that those who seek refuge are protected, I take that as perfect truth. But I don't know how that is so and I'm the kind of person that only truly feels secure knowing how something works, only then can I see all the possibilities that may arise in a bird's eye view of the whole picture.

There is an esoteric aspect to it. It seems God is looking at where I am going, and inspired in his ways, a verse from the Quran in me.
This was a STRONG antisatanic meditation

"To Him ascend the angels and the Spirit in a day the measure of which is fifty thousand years."
Which I turned into some meditations "God is a 50 000 year journey away."
Or even more esoteric "Almightyness is a 50 000 year journey away."
Or "We are 50.000 years away from creation".PEACE BE WITH YOU.
