    Peace all,

Call me vague, but I remember the Copenhagen interpretation of quantam physics relate that for something to exist it must first be witnessed. Maybe this has something to do with it, something on the outer rims of our scientific knowledge. ?

      Peace,

I think the translation would be

"Be and it's becoming" , "be" is instantanious and even out of the dimension of time because nothing can be considered instatanious in this univers. "it's becoming" relates the continuity of the effect after the original cause.

As for the example of the rain, one cannot limit the causes in a limited period of time. Notionally, one could go looking back in time for the causes for today's rain until arriving at the origin of time (t=0), and thus, to the absolute cause, the god the creator.

I don't know if the god is actually intervening in the course of events now. Any verses relating to this point?

Do you not see that God sends down water from the sky, and causes it to become streams under the earth, then He produces with it plants of various colors, then they grow until they turn yellow, then He turns them lifeless? This should be a reminder for those who possess intelligence.

?They are enemies to me, except for the Lord of the worlds?
?The One who created me, He will guide me?
?And He is the One who feeds me and gives me to drink?
?And if I am sick, He is the One who cures me?
?And the One who will make me die and then bring me to life?

To your Lord is the final destiny.
He is the One who makes you laugh or cry.
He is the One who controls death and life.
He is the One who created the two kinds, male and female.
From a tiny drop of semen.
        He will effect the recreation.
He is the One who makes you rich or poor.
He is the Lord of the galaxies.

If God grants you victory then none can defeat you, and if He abandons you then who can grant you victory after Him? And towards God the believers should put their trust.

        Peace

          Thanks zenje. )

Whatever way one thinks about it, everything comes back to the original cause in the end.

Cause and effect --- LAW AND ORDER --- "BE AND IT IS".

            1. A beggar for many years, sitting at one corner of a street, becomes a millionaire instantly? How??? (BE AND IT IS). Did the money come flying down from the sky or was it a gift from a jinie?
            2. Mary became pregnant having Jesus? How??? (BE AND IT IS). Can a women become pregnant by herself?
            3. A billionaire suddenly becomes poor? How??? (BE AND IT IS). Did someone snatch away all his wealth out of thin air?

I think you ignored Someone's definition, fayakoonu according to 349 shows the meaning to be "it's becoming"

                Peace Idris,

I didn't ignore Someone's definition but rather was implying that he was correct in his assertion by demonstrating the quotes to become part of what I understood as "BE AND IT IS" (Law and Order), vaguely put. That's all.

The part which you quoted above are generalizations for others, perhaps Kyle wants to explore since he couldn't understand my question. Many may think that "BE AND IT IS" happens out of thin air or magically.

                      Peace be upon you,

I think this statement just indicates the nature of thoughts once again. Once you focus in something (BE), then the universe starts to bring the things needed for that OBJECT OF FOCUS to manifest into reality.

For example, we all have to think of what we are going to eat for dinner, lets say we decide on Fish, that is the 'BE", now since we are focused on that, we go about the proceedure to make it happen (It is becoming).

We are all part of a Whole, we are only "US" because the God blew HIS energy(ruh) into us.

^^ Very well explained idolfree...i like the analogy of the fish and how it exists in one's mind.

Although I agree in what you mentioned above, you once again misunderstood my question. The "BE and IT IS" statement/command as per the Quran is to do with GOD Almighty, not "US".

                            Peace Kyle,

On second thoughts, I just realized that your analogy of fish has nothing to do with "BE AND IT IS". You cannot command a fish and have it your way within your system. Besides, as I mentioned earlier, the statement is designed for GOD as per the Quran, not for humans. Sorry to say that you are either straying off the subject or not trying hard enough to understand.

The Initiator of the heavens and the earth to have anything done, He simply says to it, "Be," and it is.

She said, "My Lord, how can I have a son, when no man has touched me?" He said, "GOD thus creates whatever He wills. To have anything done, He simply says to it, `Be,' and it is.

To have anything done, we simply say to it, "Be," and it is.

It does not befit GOD that He begets a son, be He glorified. To have anything done, He simply says to it, "Be," and it is.

All He needs to do to carry out any command is to say to it, "Be," and it is.

He is the only One who controls life and death. To have anything done, He simply says to it, "Be," and it is.

                            GOD bless.

                              Salaam,

kun fayakoonu means be and it is, not becoming. The fa though connects it to to the next verse

                              "the truth from your lord"

So it says " be" and it is the truth from your lord, so be not of those who doubt"

The truth from your lord is closely connected to fa yakoonu, they should should not be translated as 2 separate sentences.

                                  Salaam,

Idris, Arabic dictionaries define it as "is" Check lane, check abdul mannan omar. They both define it to mean "is" The fa in fa yakuunu is not the equivalent of our "and" It is more properly translated as whereupon. The translation should be" whereupon it is a bird". The fa gives the cause and effect, it is inherent to the meaning of the word.

                                    May Allah increase our wisdom

It is inappropriate to have God in our mind, as if HE is like one among us and atribute to Him as His abilities based on our dictionary meanings and our gramamtical applications and on the rotten knowledge of humankind. Praise His attributes in the manner most fitting to HIM and dignify HIM for, He is above all of the crerations bundled together, supreme in Wisdom!

Allah gives you an indication as to how to recite His verses deep in the mind that has no need for dictionary, nor vocabulary, nor grammar nor verbatims and wordyness. Believe in the EVEN unseen and EVEN unheard of. If you are fearful for Him, believe in the UNSEEN and UNHEARD OF !

BE and IT IS ! is one and the same; and never two separate events for, choice has never been granted for the time for it to lapse.

Unless we believe in this there is NO hope for survival with IMAN, i.e., as a MUMIN. If we are living without believing in this "Be and It IS", it is because Allah is patient on you; because of His grant of Mercy upon you, until a time appointed.

Peace be upon you 2 Pac,

Sorry for the long delay, I forgot about this thread.

My answer is that the human is limited. We are indeed creators, but the God says that HE is BEST of Creators. We have to work with what He has already provided and "create" from that using our intellect.

                                        Peace be upon you Danish,

I am well aware that the verse speaks about the God. We are manifest from the God. We have the same potentials just in a smaller scale which does not even come close to the God's, but still we have them.

We are creators, but the God is the BEST of Creators.

                                          ..

                                          Peace,

                                          May I add
