Boys in Paradise
-
Not sure if this has been discussed already but I was wondering what the following verses really mean and why are they discussing about Boys as some kind of reward in Jannah (Paradise) ?
"And there shall wait on them young boys of their own, as fair as virgin pearls." (Quran 5224)
"They shall be attended by boys graced with eternal youth, who will seem like scattered pearls to the beholders." (Quran 7619) -
It certainly isn`t about homophilia, whose description probably closer would be "miserable hag" and belong in hell.
-
It`s a vision from heaven. Of being served, and beauty, it seems.

I would think that the boys description are an earthly allegorical to what's really in heaven.

Verses of the afterlife are subtle. One's perception of al-quran says far far more about the reader than it says about al-quran, for it is also called al-furqan. The law decides the fate of the defendant, the defendant cannot alter the law, not least ALLAH, He cannot be questioned. There can be no lasting harm/suffering with ALLAH. The only discontent/suffering comes from clinging to falsehood.

Greetings and Peace, all group

I agree with you. Evidences
1335 The example of the Paradise which the righteous are promised, is that rivers flow beneath it, and its provisions are continuous as is its shade. Such is the abode of those who were righteous, while the abode of the rejecters is the Fire.
4715 Is the example of the Paradise; that the righteous have been promised with rivers of pure water, and rivers of milk whose taste does not change, and rivers of wine that are delicious for the drinkers, and rivers of strained honey, and for them in it are all kinds of fruits, and a forgiveness from their Lord; like that of those who abide in the Fire, and are given to drink boiling water that cuts-up their intestines?
ALLAH knows best
