    Peace

Has anyone read 'Why I am not a Muslim' by Ibn Warraq ? http//www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1591020115/qid=1095850468/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl/202-5362937-8670229

Any comments from the Muslims here (as oppossed to Sunnis)? Was it solely critical of the sunni Quran translations and their hadith?

      Salaam Roshan

I haven't read it, but had heard about it a while ago. I wasn't interested in it at the time, I guess I wouldn't mind knowing what his beef is Islam. From the little I heard, it was mainly what goes on in Saudi Arabia under the guise of Islam. I doubt I'd sit and read the book though, I think I have better things to do with my time. wink

      Peace

Most of what Ibn Warraq said is hadeeth and sunni related.

Do you think it was a good rebuttal of sunnism? I think, knowing what I know now, that I could do quite a good rebuttal of sunnism!
