As you have probably figured out, Fight Club is one of my favourite movies. I was watching it again the other day, when I came to this great scene

    http//www.youtube.com/watch?v=mg3m8wRVXWg

Tyler says this "If we are God's unwanted children, so be it!" and I found it to be an interesting idea.

I don't really know what I'm getting at with this thread. Of course he's wrong, but have any of you ever felt like this? Like God doesn't care about you/us any more?

I often think about why a messenger won't come to our generation. It's been more than a thousand years...

Does God love us? And if you've ever felt like he didn't, how did you manage to get yourself out of this "depression"?

Sorry if this has been asked before!

      Highlights above are from me.

      Dear Tyler,

Surly GOD, swt, sent His messengers to us, but they all brought the same messege over and over again. The message is The good old Qur'aan. Now if GOD wills and decides to send more messengers in the future, I'm sure they all will be preaching nothing but The Qur'aan ALONE.

Just follow The Qur'aan. I'm sure you're going to live a PEACEFUL life, free from any DEPRESSION.

      Peace,
      Khalil

No I haven't. Maybe people in other countries who live in bad situations do. But overall if you look at the prize that is being granted for those who enter Paradise can anyone really say that God doesn't love us? People who live in depressing/hopeless situations and are not capable of attaining the truth because of there current status will surely be granted mercy and forgiveness in the hereafter. The only people that should be really worried are those you have the means to attain truth yet in there arrogance rejected it. If God didn't love us he wouldn't have given everyone equal opportunity and privilege to enter Paradise.

        Peace,

        Kevin

          Salam,

If you look around the world, the vast majority of all the people on Earth do not believe in God and do not serve Him. Even the majority of those who say they believe do not behave or serve Him as He commands and the majority are only serving Idols. All the harship, pain and misery in the world is caused by us, not God. Its easy to look around and think God doesn't love mankind and you'd be correct. He only loves Believers dedicated to Him alone, which is only a tiny percentage of the world.

Lol, I think God cares about those who care whether he cares about them or not.

              Nope..

I often think about why a messenger won't come to our generation. It's been more than a thousand years...

Many revelations/messages are being delivered, perhaps even daily.. yet within the 'format' or 'appearances' which is not exactly match your 'expectation' of 'message/revelation from a God's messenger'.. and oh yeah.. he/she/it never ask you to 'bear any testimony' that he/she/it is a messenger of God.. or even claimed as such.. you just have to be sensitive enough to 'see and listen'...

Does God love us? And if you've ever felt like he didn't, how did you manage to get yourself out of this "depression"?

              Patience and perseverance..
