Salaam and thanks to both Khan and Yousef.
May Allah accept my duas and guide me to the right path.

Pls comment and help me understand on the below which I have copied from Rashad Khalifa's website, which proves the 5 times prayers a day - (Though I am not convinced with his mathematical code nor his claim of being a messenger).

The Dawn Prayer must be observed during two hours before sunrise (11114, 245.
The Noon Prayer is due when the sun declines from its highest point at noon (177.
The Afternoon Prayer can be observed during the 3-4 hours preceding sunset (223.
The Sunset Prayer becomes due after sunset (11114).
The Night Prayer can be observed after the twilight disappears from the sky (245. * The Friday noon congregational prayer is an obligatory duty upon every Submitting man and woman (629). Failure to observe the Friday Prayer is a gross offense.

And apart from this I do have lot more questions and need guidance. But I would rather be patient and go step by step.

May Allah bless you in your kind efforts.

      Thanks
      Mir

        Peace peace
To summerize, Rashad Khalifa's message was basically to Follow the Quran ALONE ; and Even in one of his videos (big debate), he stated that "If i tell you to do anything that is not in the Quran, DO NOT DO IT!".

Now tell me, What can i find the names of the 5 prayers from the Quran? You see there is only 3 prayers BY NAME mentioned (i.e fajr, al-wusta, esha)...
The Quran is not missing anything (63, and again, if God Almighty cited 3 names of prayers, then there has to only be 3 prayers! I've stated in my earlier post that there is also mention of only 3 Daily prayers times in the previous scriptures.
Moreovere, even Jews and Samaritans today have 3 daily prayers
Watch even the "Jewish salat", and you can find the descriptions of the prayer from the talmud & the laws concerining prayer

I deeply encourage you to read the Articles
"Should we follow Rashad Khalifa the Messenger or his Message?"

Why was Prophet Muhammad observing Salat at only 3 times of the day?

Salaam and thanks to both Khan and Yousef.
May Allah accept my duas and guide me to the right path.

          Salaam brother,

          Allah always answer the prayers

          4060
4060 And your Lord said Call on Me and I will answer for you. Surely, those who are too arrogant to serve Me, they will enter Hell, humbled.

InshaAllah, I will try to answer following questions.

The Dawn Prayer must be observed during two hours before sunrise (11114, 245.

2458 gives you the name of Salaats, in this case it is "Salaat AlFajr"

To know the exact time of "AlFajr" please refer 2187, this is the time where you have to perform your Salaat AlFajr.

Yes, 11114 also talks about Salaat AlFajr and also 1778 does.

The Noon Prayer is due when the sun declines from its highest point at noon (177.

Wrong quote! If you notice 1778 used the word "liDuluki AlShams" means "decline of the sun" which could mean decline from the highest point or decline from the horizon. The very next word after liDuluki AlShams clarifies which is the correct meaning from both.

"Ila" means "till". This is referring to the duration of Salaat. To understand "Ila" more, please refer 56 "...wa aydiyakum ILA almaraafiq..."

1- If you take decline of the sun from the highest point at noon then you have to perform a SINGLE SALAAT from Duluki AlShams TILL starting of darkness from night.

2- If you take decline of the sun from the horizon then you can perform your Salaat alEishaan TILL Ghasaqi AlLayli

The Afternoon Prayer can be observed during the 3-4 hours preceding sunset (223.

2238 never said it is "afternoon prayer" but it says "AlSalaat AlWusta" which is not referring to the regular daily Salaats because they are "written on time" or "time bounded" as per 4103. For more clarification please refer the following link

          http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9601815.msg269776#msg269776

The Sunset Prayer becomes due after sunset (11114).

Sunset prayer is called Salaat AlEishaan mentioned in 1778 and 11114

The Night Prayer can be observed after the twilight disappears from the sky (245.

There is no mention of night prayer in AlQuraan inshaAllah but Salaat AlEishaan means Salaat of the evening. Eishaan means evening and layl means night, so there is not Salaat AlLayl.

          • The Friday noon congregational prayer is an obligatory duty upon every Submitting man and woman (629). Failure to observe the Friday Prayer is a gross offense.

I have already answered this above.

May Allah increase us all in knowledge and guide us all to His only path pr

            Welcome.

I am not sure if it would help, but I do have a link somewhere with an Imam who follows hadith, he even states if we do salat by the many variations of hadith and the contridictions, we would not get past Allahu Akbar. I found this very interesting.

May Allah guide you. My husband worked for Prince Haslou in Saudi as a barber, I heard some CRAZY things! May God bless you living there. I am a woman so I would rather die than have to live in that place. Traditional Islam does make a woman hate her own gender, some males seem to not understand why, but if you would just look as you have, it is horrible for us here and in heaven. How can this be God and the Prophet's teachings?

I also have a book about the history of Hadith, it had one interesting point. It states before the wide spread of hadith, when muslims were GOD ALONE, they led the world scientifically, technologically, culturally, socially, miliarily and economically. They never lost a single battle. The borders spread from West Africa to China, into southern France and Eastern Germany. with the beginning of the 3rd century AH, the deterioration of the Ummah began. Since the appearance of these innovations as sources of guidance besides Quran, the Muslim have never won a single battle.

It then goes into how can 3 million Israelis consistently defeat 150 million Arabs.. and so on.

I found it interesting and I am still verifiying these claims, but I thought I would share.

May Allah bless you and yours.

            Christine

Salaam to All my dear friends who are helping me and guiding to the right path.

              Dear Youssef and Mohammed,
Truly your detailed explanations and links has helped me in getting the right perspective of 3 salats a day.
As I have said earlier I have plenty of questions but would like to go step by step to clear my thoughts and get the proper explanations from Quran.

Though the timing of each prayer is mentioned clearly, I would appreciate if you may advise the specific time of each prayer to be maintained. (In relation to the clock)

              Dear Chirstine,
Until few months ago I was very happy and glad that the Allah has blessed me and my family by giving us an opportunity to stay in this place of the rightly guided people.
But Alhamdulilah with the new perspective and in the light of Quran, the first feeling I have got is that the biggest losers of the Sunni & Shia concept are women, who are so badly treated in the name of religion. (May Allah guide us all and protect us from this blatant beliefs).
Traditional Islamist s wants and likes to stay in the past glory of true Muslims with out ever wondering what has gone wrong and why we cannot attain the same position again in spite of having so many resources.

May Allah guide us to the right and bless you all in your endeavors.

                Salaam brother Mir,

I believe in only two Salaats per day, I am sure you might have not gone through my post above carefully. Please take a look again and it also shows the specific time for each Salaat.

It is not possible to mention the Salaat timings with the clock as everywhere in world it is different. So, Allah has given us the global solution by His grace and made is easy for each individual hail

Brother, if you don't mind me asking I would like to know how do you access this site from Saudi, it has no access from there.

                      Salaam Brother Khan,
Yes indeed i believe I did not go in detail, thanks for the correction. I will need some more time to get in to more depth to understand why there is a variation in accepting 2 or 3 or no physical salats.
This is the reason I wrote earlier between the people who are strictly adhering to Quran only for guidance, why is there still a difference of opinion?
Isn't it possible for all of us to get the best linguistic and Quran experts to come to the right conclusion, instead of again getting divided similar to traditional Islam followers based on Hadiths?

By all means (Allah Knows well) I am not questioning the intentions or efforts of anyone but it pains to see a layman like me who is trying to understand God's message in the guidance of Quran only and seeing so many sincere people who are putting best of there efforts but still unable to come to one platform where Allah I suppose wants the true believers to follow?

Yes from Saudi Arabia it is not possible to access this website but fortunately with the help of anonymous web browsers it can be done. And most of my search on this is being done through this way only as there is no other option coz most of the websites are blocked here.
Below 2 websites can be viewed without any problems so far from Saudi -

                      www.quranicpath.com
                      www.quranic.org

I believe both of them very informative and good ones address lot of issues.

Proceeding further, If I may ask the method of Salat?

May Allah guides us All to the right path and May he bless for your great efforts.

                      Mir

                        Salaam brother Mir,

                        548

548 And We have sent down to you the Book with the truth, authenticating what is between your hands of the Book and superseding it. So judge between them by what God has sent down, and do not follow their desires from what has come to you of the truth. For each of you We have made laws, and a structure; and if God had willed, He would have made you all one nation, but He tests you with what He has given you; so strive to do good. To God you will return all of you, and He will inform you regarding that in which you dispute.

                        Points to note from 548

1- We have made a SHARIYAT for each of you .

2- And if Allah had willed, He would have made you all ONE UMMAT .

3- This is because He wants to test us for what He has given us .

4- So strive to do good .

5- When we return to Allah, He will inform us regarding our dispute .

Now with AlQuraan, a single platform for all is not possible

Yes from Saudi Arabia it is not possible to access this website but fortunately with the help of anonymous web browsers it can be done. And most of my search on this is being done through this way only as there is no other option coz most of the websites are blocked here.

                              Salaa.

                              Thanks Kaiokenred.
You have ignored the reply on both Eids, Is it possible for some one else to clarify?

Also I would appreciate if someone can englighten me on the issue of "Fatwas" like its History, How was is started and what does Allah say in Quran on this subject? Why people follow it and are afraid of ignoring it ?

May Allah Bless All of us and guide us to the right Path

                                Dear brother @mmkhan,

1- We have made a SHARIYAT for each of you .

This is to me one of the most interesting and clarifying statements! It is so important!
Could you please elaborate a little bit more how did you come to that conclusion?

And, just out of curiosity, how did you know that this bro connects from Saudi? ???
                                Thanx
