    Peace.

3210 And they said When we are buried in the ground, will we be created anew? Indeed, they reject the meeting of their Lord.

How should we be buried? Should we go to the burial of non believers? I think somewere in tge Quran it days we shouldn't I couldn't find it to bring it up.

If we are supose to get buried then we could not cremate our selves I suppose.

    Thanks

      Greetings and Peace, all group

How remains are disposed of doesn't seem to be part of the deen. 1092 mentions preserving of the body of Pharoah. 8021 mentions "buried" as does 3210.

Have your remains disposed of however you wish. If you arrange for organ donation during your life, even your remains may prove useful. Your eyes can allow up to two blind people to see, your skin can help heal burn victims, and your other organs can help a multitude of people. Is the greater good for organs to putrify in the earth, or help others? The donation of organs from one person who passes is enough to directly help more than 50 people and also enough to save up to 8 lives--but arrangements must be made while living.

Go to whatever funeral service you wish for any person you wish. The funeral service is not for the deceased, but for the living. If you are uncomfortable with anything, then you don't have to go.

      ALLAH knows best.

      peace

Buried.. in the ground.... that's it....
The dead will not care on which neighborhood they're actually being buried...
Or... whether they're actually being buried in the ground or on the seabed or their bodies are being blown apart miles away (such as in airplane accident)

If we are supose to get buried then we could not cremate our selves I suppose.

Why do you think so? We could get cremated and then buried to the ground..
More cost and space savings... for the living...

        Salam / Peace

          Shalom,

Wouldn't it be nice to donate your body to science ? People could use the spare parts and others could study human biology will the remainders. Even though it sounds nice, I find it spooky. But I have never heard of any other thing that is better in comparison.

Peace. I was thinking in the past of donating my body to science. I think that you would have to make sure its not for plastic surgeons to practice since we are not supose to change the creation of God almighty.

We would have to make sure its only for the use by science/medicine that's not against Gods teachings.

            Thanks

              Shalom,

Plastic surgeons may use my skin for burn victims or people that need it for reasonable use. I leave that up to them. Otherwise, how are we so sure that the kidney we donate wont be used to filter tons of alcohol and intoxicants , and the eyes to lust ?

Regarding changing God's creation, farming has to be abolished. We breed animals/plants by selective breeding, we are changing them. Interesting ?

Peace Abdul-Hadi & Jafar & Student of Allah! peace

I like how you guys pointed out Organ donation, and donating your body to science, preserving your body, as in pharoah and being simply buried in the Ground!
All have benefits of course, and isn't it nice to know that even after you die, that people can use your deceased body laugh
Moreover, i am surprised that no one quoted the so called Cain story! 531

God then sent a raven to scratch the soil, to teach him how to bury his brother's corpse. He said, "Woe to me; I failed to be as intelligent as this raven, and bury my brother's corpse." He became ridden with remorse.(531)

Still i would think, donating your body to beneficial means would be the best thing, because it might for example, help a medical student expiremant with real dead specimens!

                  Salaam all,

                  1092
1092 "This day, We will preserve your body, so that you become a sign for those after you." But most of the people are unaware of Our signs!

"Liman" is the word where I am stuck, it is not referring to a single person who will after him? If not then, is it not against the Sunnah of Allah? Where is the body of Firauwn now?

After reading this I decide to donate by complete body inshaAllah .

                  532
532 Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption in the land ? it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one ? it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.

                    Salaam brother,

I believe that 531 is always wrongly translated.

                    531

531 So God sent forth a raven to scratch the land and show him how to deal with the body of his brother. He said "Woe to me! Am I not even able to be like this raven and deal with the body of my brother?" So he became of those who regretted.

1- Ghuraab could mean a black man. Please take a look at 3527. Ghuraab is derived from the root Ghayn Raa Baa. Its another derivative is Maghrib.

2- Yuwaari is derived form the root Waw Raa Yaa means hide, please take a look at its derivative "yatawaara" in 1659

3- Sau-ata means evil/bad , sau-ata is derived form the root Seen Waw Hamza please take a look at its another derivative i.e., "Sau-ee" in 1928

If "Sau-ata akhi" is translated as "dead body of his brother" then how can we translate the 720 and 726

                    720

                    726

Hope this may help inshaAllah to understand 531 correctly D

May Allah guide us all to His true path pr

And burying our body in the earth shall also bring benefits to the plants!.. as our body shall become food for them..

However.. within small and highly populated area (i.e. city island of Singapore or Macau or small country such as Monaco), it could become impractical to bury the dead.. as the space for graveyard is also very limited and only available in high cost... cremation might be more suitable...

                      The main point is
Once we're dead we're dead.. it doesn't matter on which neighborhood our body are being buried or not buried at all.. the belief that 'the way the dead body is being treated shall have correlation impact to the fate of the soul' is a legacy from paganistic culture.. such as the ancient Egyptians and/or ancient pagan Arabs... The sectarian jews also had this similar tendency.. they refuse to bury their dead alongside 'the gentile' and/or the samarites.. as they believe that it shall 'defile' the purity of the dead jewish soul..

                      Salam / Peace

                        Shalom everyone,

I just want to make clear what is the implication of what I stated earlier. There is no implication ) It is just my opinion. There are many ways to dispose the dead. One should use his/her reasoning to decide what would be better for US. I do not see it as a religious obligation to bury or to donate to science. There are far more greater and important things to think about which all occur WHILE I AM ALIVE ) .

5.30 - 31The (selfish) soul of the other led him to the murder of his brother he murdered him, and became (himself) one of the lost ones. Then Allah sent a raven, who scratched the ground, to show him how to hide the shame of his brother. "Woe is me!" said he; "Was I not even able to be as this raven, and to hide the shame of my brother?" then he became full of regrets-

I am not sure if the word "shame" is a proper translation but its a good way to look at how we are to be buried. It must be done before decomposing.

The accounts of the raven is also there in the Talmud

"Adam and his help mate were sitting weeping and lamenting over him , and they did not know what to do with Abel, for they were not acquainted with burial. A raven, one of whose companions had died, came. He took him and dug in the earth and buried him before his eyes. Adam said, 'I shall do as this raven.' Immediately, he took Abel's corpse and dug in the earth and buried it."
