The very simple solution to all this illusory confusion

And certainly We have explained for men in this Quran every kind of similitude, but most men do not consent to aught but denying.
As stated previously in this thread
Seest thou not that it is Allah Whose praises all beings in the heavens and on earth do celebrate, and the birds (of the air) with wings outspread? Each one knows its own (mode of) prayer and praise. And Allah knows well all that they do.
The aim of salat is God-connection.
For example you don't see a flurry of threads regarding zakat "How many times a day to give in charity?" "The 5% of your savings theory of zakat", etc! And in the same command, establish salat and zakat, why are you so confused by a simple matter?
This is the ALL-KNOWING SEER AND HEARER OF ALL THINGS we are talking about. To act as if you must do X or Y for the almighty Z times a day to appease? No! Look again
And enjoin prayer on your followers, and steadily adhere to it; We do not ask you for subsistence; We do give you subsistence, and the purpose is for guarding.
Leave the sectarianism behind. There is no "right" way to pray. There is prayer, and there are an infinite number of ways to pray. Some will get maximal benefit out of a ritual salat. The important thing is, regular remembrance of God and timed specific contact where you focus on the God-connection. Consider HOW MANY different ways of reaching God there are on this planet, each culture has a myriad forms of practice. Shamanic drumming and chanting is just as valid as bowing and prostrating.
Salat is for YOURSELF, not for God. Salat is to retune your mind to hear the Creator's voice over your own ego
And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then surely I am very near; I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls on Me, so they should answer My call and believe in Me that they may walk in the right way.
It seems to me, that you are still bearing the burden of the sectarians when they ask "What is the method for prayer prescribed in the quran". Notice that the sectarians do not ask you "What is the method for zakat prescribed in the quran"?
And when Musa said to his people Surely Allah commands you that you should sacrifice a cow; they said Do you ridicule us? He said I seek the protection of Allah from being one of the ignorant.
They said Call on your Lord for our sake to make it plain to us what she is. Musa said He says, Surely she is a cow neither advanced in age nor too young, of middle age between that (and this); do therefore what you are commanded.
They said Call on your Lord for our sake to make it plain to us what her color is. Musa said He says, Surely she is a yellow cow; her color is intensely yellow, giving delight to the beholders.
They said Call on your Lord for our sake to make it plain to us what she is, for surely to us the cows are all alike, and if Allah please we shall surely be guided aright.
Musa said He says, Surely she is a cow not made submissive that she should plough the land, nor does she irrigate the tilth; sound, without a blemish in her. They said Now you have brought the truth; so they sacrificed her, though they had not the mind to do (it).
There is no need to complicate such a simple thing! You are deep in the forest wondering why ALLAH never told you which specific tree to look at... Don't be fooled!

Red highlight is from me.
Salaam Dear IAMOP,
Consider this just as a correction to your last statement above.
I do second your post in its entirety, but the first word of your last statement MUST NOT be there AT ALL.
ALLAAH, SWT, is the absolute and infinite PEACE Himself. He is the one that bestows from His PEACE to His servants, if He Wills. Actually, all peace comes from Him Alone. No one has the ability to send "peace" to Him. One of His names is "SALAAM."
Peace,
Khalil -
Very nice IAMOP
Thank you

And certainly We have made the Quran easy for remembrance, but is there anyone who will mind?
To every nation We appointed acts of devotion which they observe, therefore they should not dispute with you about the matter and call to your Lord; most surely you are on a right way.
And if they contend with you, say Allah best knows what you do.
Allah will judge between you on the day of resurrection respecting that in which you differ.
Do you not know that Allah knows what is in the heaven and the earth? Surely this is in a book; surely this is easy to Allah.

Nice Clarified Post.
In Some matters (as salat and homoseciality), God Almighty does not come out and state explicitly of the commandment, but he does give us example of how people did them. There is no commandment that stipulates that man should not llie down with man in the Quran, just like the Torah stipulates. Nevertheless, we do have an example of Lot's people, who, by their doing (homosexuality), were transgressing. And so, if anyone today is still committing homosexuality, They would logically also be trangressing as per (781)Similarly, There is no prescribed Step-by-step way of doing the salat in the Quran. nevertheless, we do have example of how people did them.
Now there can actually be 3 positions of SalatZakarYAH Standing doing his salat (339)
Believers do their salat while bowing/kneeling (555)
Muhammed Ending his Salat by Prostrating (4102)Moreover, the sole purpose of Doing the salat is to remember God Almighty (2014), and not the quantity of bowing/kneeling.
Thus, one can conclude that most of the duration of the salat is spend during standing position, and the bowing/kneeling position, and that there has to be 1 prostration, because that is the end of our salat as per 4102.***For the Bowing/Kneeling position, some translate Rk3 ( ), as bowing, and some translate it as kneeling.
We can get a glimps of this position as David "fell down" and did his rkoo3" in 3824, and also, solomon, "fell down", as the animal ate his staff when he was dead 3414.
***Thus Rk3 (ع has to be come about from a position of high potential (e.g standing), into a position of low potential (e.g bowing/kneeling) -
Salam,
bravo bravo
I actually prefer to do my contact prayers while kneeling and prostrating frequently. Feels more "humble" that way for me.
I also tend to do random "prayers" and talking to God all day long. You can never remember God too much nor thank Him too much. )
